The special edition pencil is the fifth entry in the Blackwing Eras series, honoring Blackwing's legacy with designs inspired by the unique history of the Blackwing 602. The Blackwing Eras Pencil (2024 Edition) features a retro design inspired by the Microtomic 603. Each box includes 12 special edition pencils with a deep blue body, silver imprint and ferrule, pink eraser, and soft graphite. In 2020, we launched the first Eras pencil celebrating 10 years of Blackwing's revival with a design straight from the 1930s. In 2021, we released the second Eras pencil, paying tribute to the Palomino pencils that inspired Blackwing's revival. In 2022, we honored the perforated ferrule found on Blackwing pencils from the mid-20th century. In 2023, we released a design inspired by the Van Dyke 601.
