The author begins with the theoretical framework of the last 100 years and proceeds to analyze the general principles and functions of Management (planning/programming, organization/decision-making, leadership/human resources, control-evaluation-indicators).
Extensive references are also made to quality, communication, and the promotion of services, as well as to informatics as fundamental tools of administrative sciences, along with their explanation and application in health services.
