I had a lot of hype for the game's release in 2015 as they heavily advertised the so-called butterfly effect and combined with the horror element, it was supposed to be revolutionary. Well, it has nothing to do with that in the end. Literally, none of your choices affect the outcome of the game as you would like. Romances, relationships, endings, and gameplay scenarios are all predetermined, so we're talking about scum. For example, when I decided to sacrifice a character to save someone else, I was deliberately tripping him to fall, and the game continued to run, and in the end, he was saved... Now, as a horror experience alone, it's not bad but not good either. The characters are good, so you care about their fate in a story that doesn't innovate and always, as I said, with its strong point, the "butterfly effect," being nonexistent. All in all, for me, it's a simple horror experience at the level of a movie (you could finish it with the TV remote if that was compatible with the console...) and not a game that has anything special or innovative to offer. As for the remaster, what can I say... worse fps for better resolution and they sell it to you at full price... they could have, for example, actually incorporated the butterfly effect this time, but no.
it is a good game but it's overpriced simply because it's a remaster
one of the most pointless remasters that could exist
