Coming from Free Buds Pro, I have to say the following:
Positives:
Very good sound for music, with good bass.
Very good fit that doesn't tire, without falling out of the ear, ideal for the gym and running.
Long battery life.
Good switching between connected devices.
Negatives:
The Creative app is a disaster, it needs to connect constantly and often freezes, requiring you to try again and again. Also, it doesn't have the option to choose which devices you want to connect to; for example, if you have it connected to a TV, computer, and phone, you have to turn off Bluetooth on the device you don't need so it can automatically select the other two.
The stem of the headphones is not touch-sensitive, resulting in all functions being performed from a point in the center of the headphones with the corresponding presses, and different functions are assigned to the right and left; for example, you lower the volume from the left and increase it from the right. If you want to use only one earbud, you will have one function, and the rest from the phone.
But the biggest problem, in my opinion, is that if you wear them and they are in standby mode, meaning no music is playing and you are not talking on the phone, there is a strange buzzing that is very unpleasant for me personally, and I can't keep them in my ears all the time, only when I need them.
In conclusion, they are very good for TV and music, but quite mediocre for phone use
They fit inside the ears but you feel like you are talking through a tunnel and it is quite annoying; I had to buy wired ones until I figure out what to do with the others
The Zen Air SXFI stands out for its small size, which is convenient for comfortable use even after a long time, but it does not help with the small touch surface for controlling them. The case is small and can be easily carried thanks to the pouch included in the package. The charging of the case can be done either through the type-c port or wirelessly.
The Creative app has left me with positive impressions. The options it has for the equalizer are the most comprehensive I have seen in such an application and definitely help in better acoustic selection.
The performance of the headphones in terms of speech operates at very high levels. The ANC is as intrusive as needed, and the isolation from external noise works correctly both in Ambient mode and in the Adaptive option. The conversation during calls is clear for both parties. When listening to music, the Zen Air SXFI delivers a very nice result with rich bass. The equalizer really changes the tone of the music and is not just some gimmick of the application. The SXFI provides depth and surround, but it is not the same as in the Creative Hybrid SXFI that I had tried. The Low latency works correctly, and whether in videos with dialogues or in gaming, there is truly no delay in sound transmission. Finally, the battery is the great asset of the Creative Zen Air SXFI. It really has very high endurance and certainly lasts as long as the company promises.
The Creative Zen Air SXFI are headphones packed with powerful technology, delivering excellent performance in both speech and music, with very good ANC functionality and a full equalizer. The strong points I take away are the excellent music performance even without the SXFI activated, the very good battery, the MULTIPOINT function, and the price, which is particularly low for all that they offer. On the negative side, I would emphasize the SXFI technology, which may need some update to become more efficient, and the touch control, which due to the small surface is a bit difficult and requires quite a bit of familiarization.
PROS
- Sound performance
- Battery life
- Price
CONS
- SXFI performance
- Touch control

Honestly. They are not worth it at all. I don't know if I received a defective product or not. The sound is distorted, and in standby mode, when no music is playing, they buzz in my ears. I use them for work and I can't concentrate. I had to order another pair while these are brand new. I don't understand how they can have good reviews. I can't return them because I have opened the packaging. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
I had not tried such in-ear with the small tail until now. These fit me very well in the ear, they don't come out easily while I had an issue with that. The ANC is worthy and the battery lasts as it says (obviously not at max volume, for those who don't know how it goes). Worth!
The Creative Zen Air are truly a pleasant surprise! I use them daily and I am very satisfied. The sound is incredibly clear, with good volume and the bass is quite satisfying.
They are also very comfortable and sweat-resistant, which makes them ideal for workouts. The only small downside is that they may not fit perfectly in all ears, but overall, for their price, they are excellent headphones!
Comfortable, quality, and reliable.
Care is needed when repositioning them in the case because, in a strange way, they get stuck until you find the angle and slip from your fingers.
Finally, sometimes when they come close to each other, a strange micro-sound is heard that I can't explain.
Bass as much as it gets (one of the biggest problems when looking for headphones since everything is dead), clear sound, noise cancellation works perfectly. You need the app to customize it to your liking. They are worth every euro
