Utown is the story of a marginalized neighborhood that a group of outcast characters call home. Samuel is a 24-year-old self-proclaimed emerging artist (but mostly a video store clerk) who is trying to avoid adulthood. When gentrification knocks on his door, he must confront the truth that the city he grew up in is no longer his safe haven – and that he is not ready to leave just yet. With no money and limited options, it's time to take action and prove his worth as a serious artist or continue to repeat old, toxic behaviors.
