Excellent accuracy in room temperature, verified with 3 different others (e.g. it shows 20 degrees, and the other thermometers show 20.1 or 19.9 degrees). However, there is usually a significant deviation in measuring humidity compared to the value shown by the dehumidifier (e.g. the dehumidifier shows 72% or 68% and the humidity meter shows 55%!!!).
The only times it agrees with the dehumidifier in indicating humidity is when it - after a short period of operation - stabilizes the room humidity, for example, at 45%, and at the same time, the humidity meter is consistently placed in the room for an hour, so it also shows 45% or at least 46% & 47%....
I like the accuracy of its measurements. The temperature is the same as the other thermometer I have in the refrigerator. The humidity is correct. I recommend it. And it comes in a nice packaging with instructions in Greek on its box
I recently bought it as a second thermometer hygrometer and compared to a baurer, which has good reviews and double the price, it shows almost the same values, i.e. a 1% deviation in humidity and below one unit in temperature. Its adaptation to changes is quick and its construction is quite good and compact, despite costing only 9€ at the moment, compared to the baurer, which turns off as soon as you touch the screen. Its only downside is the small screen, although it is readable and overall its size is about the size of two matchboxes. Now, as for the negative things I read, what can I say, there may be good and bad batches.
About two weeks ago, I bought the Medisana hygrometer. Now, for no reason, it beeps like an alarm clock, waking us up in the early hours with a baby in the house, and the screen also turns off. The batteries are new, yet I replaced them and it still turns off. The humidity rises to high levels within seconds and then goes back to normal after a few minutes. Therefore, I highly doubt its accuracy. It's a disappointment and once again confirms the saying "you get what you pay for."
I have a different opinion. I bought it because I also bought a dehumidifier that does not have a humidity indicator. This particular dehumidifier, in its automatic mode, stops when the humidity reaches 55%. So when the dehumidifier stops, this hygrometer shows 56% humidity, which means it has a 1% deviation... you can't really call it unreliable!
Not at all reliable measurements, at least 10% lower in humidity than the actual. I checked it compared to a dehumidifier and another, better hygrometer and it was losing a lot in temperature as well. Also, it is sold under the OEM brand, exactly the same, cheaper with the same problems. https://www.skroutz.gr/s/5446703/OEM-DC103.html?keyphrase=%CF%85%CE%B3%CF%81%CE%B1%CF%83%CE%B9%CF%8C%CE%BC%CE%B5%CF%84%CF%81%CE%BF+DC103

It does the job perfectly fine. I have had it for over three years and I haven't changed the battery.
I have 3 hygrometers-thermometers and the only one that shows different readings from the others is this one.
