  I think it is the best 1440P gaming monitor that can be purchased for around 200-250 Euros. It has a 180HZ refresh rate, can be overclocked to 200HZ when used with Gsync, comes with 10 bit color depth and a good IPS panel, and also has a really low response time when used. Although it is not a minus for me, it is not a very bright product, I can say it is bright enough. For higher budgets, an OLED panel monitor can be preferred for better color vibrancy and higher brightness.

  The screen is good for its price (≈€220), however, it does not come properly calibrated and some adjustments will be needed for a better user experience, so you have more accurate colors and less IPS bleeding (which is excessive in a dark room). G-Sync is easily adjustable in the NVIDIA app with very good results at 180Hz, and flickering is noticeably low. It has good clarity for reading text and programming, and excellent response in games that require it.

  The settings I found and tried:
  game mode - gamer 2
  game adjust - freesync premium - on
  black stabilizer - 60
  response time - fast
  brightness - 50-100. In games from 70-85, depending on the title, but be careful because beyond a certain point it strains the eyes excessively, even in a bright room. In a dark room and browsing, 45-55 is ideal.
  contrast - 67
  sharpness - 70
  gamma - mode 3
  colour temp - custom - r/g/b - red/51, green/50, blue/53
  six colour - red_hue/45, red_saturation/51, green_hue/62, green_saturation/65, blue_hue/63, blue_saturation/54, cyan_hue/48, cyan_saturation/53, magenta_hue/58, magenta_saturation/55, yellow_hue/58, yellow_saturation/40

  These settings are for a similar ultragear panel but I found them effective in more accurately representing certain colors, especially green. Also, connect the screen with the display port cable that comes in the package, not your own HDMI.

  The black stabilizer serves to highlight dark spots in games on the screen, so it plays a bit with brightness again, but I suggest keeping it steadily at 60 and when switching tasks, e.g., from gaming to browsing or coding, just pull the lever from below towards you and easily change the brightness without going into the main menu.

  The HDR does not work properly at these brightness levels and makes the panel look washed out, plus it strains excessively. It might work better with a console.

  Also, for clearer text, go to the Windows settings and enable ClearType text and adjust it to your liking.

  I found the FPS counter large, and I preferred data from the NVIDIA app with Alt+R and more details. It does have tricks that help with first-person shooters, but nothing significant that you can't find better in 3rd party apps.

  The reason I ended up with this was that at the time of purchase, the Dell 2724D was very expensive, and I considered it the most balanced solution for this money. The panel is, however, from 5/2024. I hope I helped.

  P.S. (update) Before switching to this, I was using an Asus PB 2K with a 10-year-old IPS panel and I was shocked at how bad the blacks are on the Ultragear. As others have mentioned, literally gray in a dark room if you have the brightness high and the black stabilizer - and they crash if you lower those two values too low. The best solution for blacks is OLED panels, but still very expensive. Nevertheless, much smoother, flicker-free, and more accurate colors after the adjustments. The screen is not recommended for people who want it just for browsing and tasks outside of gaming. For gaming, it is fantastic. Alternatively, consider the solutions from Dell and Gigabyte (maybe also MSI) at the same price, after doing research on YouTube, Reddit, and Rtings for the panel. If you work with good lighting and in bright displays, it is ideal; if you are in a dark room, playing very dark games and reading on a black background, this black and the bleeding will disappoint you if you come from panels with better blacks. If you are coming from an old full HD VA LCD panel, it is understandable that it may seem like a masterpiece to you.

  I don't know how others give 5 stars to a screen with such blacks. Because it's IPS and due to the history of this specific series of monitors, you partially expect it, but in dark environments, its blacks literally look gray to the point that it makes it unusable. In all other aspects, it is very good, what you expect from a €270 monitor. With the right settings, the problem improves but not completely.
  I wouldn't recommend it to someone who sits at their computer with the lights off. It is very good if you play games without much black and with bright colors, explosions, etc

  COLORS - VIEWING ANGLES
  The screen is decent. The colors, with proper calibration, can be brought to correct ratios where they are vibrant, but the mediocre contrast of the screen, which ranges from about 850:1 to 900:1, does not provide the black tint it deserves. The contrast could certainly be better, and the blacks appear a bit gray in darker areas. The IPS glow is somewhat annoying, with the two right corners covering a spectrum of dark brown that isn't bothersome, but the two left corners in white are a bit more bothersome against a dark background. The viewing angles are good, especially from left to right, but vertical is not good, not bad. The brightness stability is at good levels, and there are no significant fluctuations at various points on the panel, meaning it is relatively uniform. However, the brightness range, with a maximum of 300 nits, will satisfy, but in bright places, it may not be enough, as the monitor is not very bright. There are, however, a few modes separate from game mode 1,2 that can increase brightness for very bright spaces in particular.

  ERGONOMICS - FUNCTIONALITY
  As for ergonomics, you shouldn't have any major issues. The screen raises and lowers comfortably but cannot swivel left or right. At the bottom of the screen is a joystick with red lighting that can be turned off and is excessively comfortable. It has the basic ports with two HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.4, with a power cable that plugs directly into the socket. The packaging includes the DisplayPort 1.4, the power cable, and the jack. However, be careful because with the stand, the screen reaches 24 centimeters and takes up quite a bit of space, so if you have a small desk, definitely use the stand, otherwise, rip. The screen has many settings and a capable UI to customize everything to your liking. The monitor also has G-Sync compatibility and AMD FreeSync. Specifically, the energy-saving setting is enabled by default, which causes lower brightness and displays flickering. In any case, turn it off.

  RESPONSE TIME - REFRESH RATE
  In terms of speed, the 180 Hz makes everything smoother compared to 144 Hz, and the difference is quite noticeable. 180 Hz is its natural state, and 200 Hz will require overclocking, which works with the monitor's G-Sync. It works excellently with adaptive sync modes with relatively low blur, but at lower frequencies, it will show distinctly more, e.g., below 100 fps. It doesn't cause dizziness or fatigue; it's excessively comfortable and is not nano IPS but IPS. (In Asia, the panel is nano IPS, while in the West, it is IPS). The input lag is also low for immediate response.

  FINAL
  In conclusion, it is a powerful screen mainly for gaming but also generally with relatively fast response times and decent colors; however, it does not perform as well in Adobe RGB, with some ratios being a bit off. It's hard not to be satisfied unless you consider four things. 1) The price, which is above its normal limit. That is, in many places, it is purchased for under 200 euros, mainly 170-180€, while here it is definitely 270+. 2) A bit of its blacks and more in a dark place, as the uniformity of black is moderate, 3) the gamma settings change color in the different modes it has and do not maintain a stable color, and 4) The ips glow on the left side is a bit more, however, this one is an upgrade of the 75gr27q-b with a better refresh rate and smoothness and less blurriness. Ssd1 vs ssd2 panel. It is also flicker-free, has hdr 400 nits, not something great, and does not have speakers + Vesa 100x100.
  SETTINGS
  -So, for the settings now.
  Because you are all superstars and deserve the best. Of course, some will be a bit relative but some not so much. These are the settings I have.
  It has two modes for saving,
  Game mode 1 or 2.
  - response time fast or normal for low fps that is 90-, but mainly fast in general.
  -The power saver should remain off.
  To make g-sync work better, download the drivers from the nvidia site because without them, it does not recognize the monitor as g-sync compatible.
  -Gamma mode 3
  -Rgb 50 red, 47 green, 53 blue.
  -Brightness 100
  -Contrast 70
  -Black stabilization 60
  -Sharpness 80.
  -Saturation green 55 and saturation blue 51. The green at least is weaker and appears as light green rather than the intense dark green seen in other models, however, the reds of this monitor are superior.
  - If you need something brighter, gamma 4 almost with the same settings, and if not then gamma 1 but the colors become particularly washed out.
  Ultra Edit: The problem with Gamma mode 2 is that it increases the red tint more and the lighting tends towards red rather than yellow or white, as it noticeably reddens the whites.
  If you also want the best blacks, the best setting is gamma mode 3 with black stabilizer 50. If you increase the black stabilizer, the black worsens and simultaneously boosts the ips glow. That is, if you need better contrast, increase the brightness and leave the black stabilizer at 50. The problem is in some dark scenes the black can 'eat' detail. If you go to a different gamma, I wouldn't recommend increasing it above 50, e.g., mode 1,2,4 if you are particularly interested in black, although the panel is a lottery.
