With the Katana Gen 3, the BOSS amplifier series offers advanced features for the guitarist. The new improvements of Tube Logic technology enhance performance with rich sound, feel, and response, with the new Pushed character delivering unique tones for the edge-of-breakup style.

The Katana-50 EX Gen 3 model includes an upgraded speaker, Line Out and Stereo Expand functions, as well as support for GA-FC/GA-FC EX foot controllers. Tube Logic technology recreates tube circuits with improved characteristics across the five available amplifier characters, including the high-gain Brown type.

The Katana Gen 3 features five categories of effects, such as Booster, Mod, FX, Delay, and Reverb, with three variations each. Additionally, the BOSS Tone Studio application offers customization capabilities, allowing modifications of onboard effects with 60 different types.
