My favorites are salmon, broccoli, carrots, and sweet potatoes!
I made rice, shrimp, zucchini, carrots, and eggs all successfully. The rice turned out perfect. Perhaps some who wrote the opposite didn't put water inside the cup as stated in the instructions. As for the cable, the size is just fine for me.
This is my first steamer and it has become my favorite appliance. Professional potato salad every time. Shrimp, salads, rice all wonderful and full of flavor.

Purchase on 12/22. You put fish and vegetables and within 20' to 30' (depending on the quantity) you have a ready meal. When the time is up, it shuts off automatically.
I had the previous series from 2000!! I decided to try the anniversary edition as well... Excellent pressure cooker!!
The first experiences are very positive. The chicken and vegetables are delicious with their unchanged taste. The chicken in particular remained tender and after we used it for Chinese stir-fry in the wok, it was super.
Very good build quality and effective in cooking. It cooks everything (vegetables, legumes, rice, meats, etc. - the time it takes for each is written in the booklet). Fill the base with water (full if you are going to cook for 1 hour - maximum, otherwise halfway). The reason I bought it is because the steam cooking method has the least loss of nutrients from food. The only issue you will face is salts. The bulb in the center of the device fills with salts (how often depends of course on usage), which reduces the device's ability to produce steam. If you don't clean it, the device will break. It's not difficult, you need citric acid (available in most supermarkets). Fill the device with water (clean), enough to fully submerge the bulb, and add 1 tablespoon of citric acid and stir for a while until fully dissolved (3-5 minutes). Turn on the device for about 20 minutes. Once it's done, the salts will be gone, discard the water and rinse.

The cooking process is very simple. You don't even think about it. You put the food, the water, and you don't deal with it again.
You will find the times empirically according to how you prefer your food.
The space is a bit limited when using the black baskets (for rice and foods that stain like beets) which cannot be used simultaneously (the black ones). However, I cannot consider it a problem and if I were to buy it again, I would still choose the same one.

It is the perfect purchase for a steam cooker, user-friendly, functional, and with a sturdy construction, suitable for everyday use for years. Absolutely satisfied, I have gifted it 2-3 times and I highly recommend it without hesitation!
I conducted market research and ended up with this one. I have cooked twice so far and it works well. The short cord is convenient for me because I place it on the kitchen counter under the hood. I cooked beets, filled the black steam basket, and it took about 30 minutes, maybe because I put too much. But guys, I put rice on the second level (2nd floor), barboiled with water 1:1.5, salt, and vegetable cube, and it took 50 minutes and it was still watery. Of course, it came out lumpy. Why? Others say 30 minutes. I didn't put too much quantity. I am satisfied and it stores easily without taking up space. I would like a manual somewhere with recipes. For example, it doesn't mention the cooking time for beets. I will come back later to see if these things are true. I deducted one star because it cooks faster on the bottom than on the top. I cooked broccoli for 25 minutes on the top and added another 5 minutes on the bottom.
It has a very good construction and cooks perfectly. Only in terms of time, I would say that I would like it to be faster, but from what I know, everything takes so long to cook in steam.
It is the third steamer of this brand which I use. The best in their class. They always serve for more than 5 years.
I bought it to cook baby food, I have been using it for about 2 months and I am completely satisfied! I have boiled many vegetables, chicken, and beef, all perfectly fine!
I also boil vegetables for us, such as broccoli, which I think becomes tastier than when cooked in a pot and lasts longer!
I have also boiled eggs, which is not "convenient" because they take more time than boiling them in water, but on the other hand, they don't crack and you don't need to time the boiling minutes!

It shows quality construction and cooks very well (it is noticeably better than the previous Rassel-Hobbs we had)...
The best! You can cook everything from meat to vegetables and fruits in a short time and very tasty. We bought it for the baby's food (6 months) and we are very satisfied.
Update: Six months later and the above still holds true. One additional information I could give is that sometimes it is a bit difficult to clean between the grooves of the containers where the food goes. Especially if you don't wash it immediately. But I imagine the same would apply to all steam cookers.

We have the following cooking times:
20 minutes for diced potatoes
15 minutes for fish fillet
30 minutes for rice
30 minutes for burgers straight from the freezer, 20 minutes if thawed
20 minutes for carrots and zucchini
Overall, the cooking times are as stated in the booklet. Taste-wise, it's the best because the food retains its flavor without being altered.
At first, I was hesitant because of the price, but it really is worth the money and it is indeed healthy due to being BPA free.

Excellent machine, I haven't used my kitchen for a year!! Just don't expect an amazing taste, you need to add spices to the meat and fish to give them flavor! I definitely bought a high-quality machine and got a second one for my country house this year!
Excellent steam cooker with its plastic parts certified for food steaming. Many steaming time options, audible notification when the process is complete, compartment for steaming rice, couscous, etc. Ergonomic placement of all attachments to reduce its volume and make it easier to store. The only negative is the short length of the cable (I think half a meter)
Read the manual for the instructions, they are accurate. For Easy cleaning, wash the containers while they are still warm. The product is high-quality and excellent, as you would expect from Braun. Buy without fear!
I bought it because of the good reviews and it is an excellent purchase. Very convenient, easy to clean, I am completely satisfied with my choice. Supposedly, I would make food for the baby, but it cooks so well that I also eat from it... and by the way, I have also lost weight because of it.

I will not rewrite what others have already written in the comments about speed, etc. What they say is true. The device is very good. The liquid collection containers do a great job.
NOTE 1: After cooking, hold each container together with the collection container and carefully place it in the sink. Then lift the container with the food and the water collection container will remain in the sink without spilling a drop and without burning yourself.
NOTE 2: The timer works even when the device is not plugged in, meaning you can use it to time anything you want in the kitchen.
Perhaps in a future model, it will become digital or give the option to start only when there is power, so that it can be connected to a smart plug (I hope I'm not going overboard with my ideas).
NOTE 3: The cord is long enough so that it doesn't have too much excess when you place the device on the counter. If you now want to place the device far from the outlet you have, then use an extension cord or a power strip, or finally, install an additional outlet on the wall where you want to use the device. Personally, I store the device after each use (meaning, it's not constantly on the counter - I prefer a cleaner look in my kitchen).
Finally, clean the device periodically from salts and it will serve you for many years, just like it does for me.

I have made beef fillet, chicken, pork, and they turn out unexpectedly tasty and tender.
Yesterday I made 12 eggs with the omelette and I didn't find a single cracked one like when I boiled them.
