BIBS Colour pacifiers are made from latex, a material derived from the sap of the rubber tree (hevea). This sap is processed to produce latex - a durable, elastic, and soft material that resembles the texture of a mother's breast.

• The nipple of the pacifier is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes its mouth, taking on the natural shape of the oral cavity.
• The nipple is made from 100% natural latex.
• The flexible disk around the nipple has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin.
• The disk is made from 100% safe and tested PP, designed with 3 holes to allow air circulation.

Cleaning and sterilizing the pacifier:

Good pacifier hygiene involves frequent cleaning. The younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria and maintain good hygiene.

Before first use, the pacifier should be sterilized.

Latex is a natural material that can break at temperatures above 100 degrees Celsius. Therefore, latex pacifiers should not be sterilized in microwaves, steam sterilizers, UV sterilizers, or sterilization solution.

Sterilizing the pacifier involves 3 simple steps:

• Place the pacifier in a clean bowl.
• Pour hot water over the pacifier and leave it for 5 minutes.
• Remove the pacifier onto a clean paper towel and let it dry.

If water has entered the nipple (through its valve), use the paper towel to squeeze the nipple until the water is expelled.
