Bayonetta is one of the last of the nearly extinct Umbra Witches. She is a master of the Bullet Arts, can use her hair as a conduit to summon Infernal Demons, and ends up involved in a battle to save the world.

Nintendo characters can now come to life in many new ways as amiibo figures - These are interactive figures that have the ability to communicate with specially designed games with amiibo compatibility, simply by touching them to the Wii U GamePad.

Details:

  • Amiibo can interact with amiibo-compatible games when the player touches them to the Wii U GamePad, reading data into the games and storing data in the figure. 
  • In Super Smash Bros Wii U, players can fight with or against their own amiibo figures, leveling them up in the process. They can then bring them to another Wii U console and showcase how they have trained and customized their own amiibo figures.
  • Different amiibo-compatible games will use amiibo in different ways. Super Smash Bros. for the Wii U will be the first game to use amiibo. Games like Mario Party 10, Mario Kart 8, Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, and Yoshi's Woolly World are also expected to support amiibo.
