Very good tent. Cool and comfortable. This August, it happened to be in a storm, got quite a bit of rain and didn't let in a single drop; with good tension, it doesn't get affected by rain at all!
very good for summer, cool and airy!
large height, a bit difficult to find a tree to set it up under.
the floor started to get water from the rain, while it is generally waterproof. (I have the green one)
This is the same model with the same name (it was all green without blue) when I bought it in 2019. The version with the blue came out a few months later. It lasted me 4 years and just tore this summer, the 5th summer, as the fabric has dried out and opens at the top. I always rinsed it at the end of the summer with salt (without soap) before storage. Its main disadvantage is that it moves a lot in the wind if you don't stretch it externally with ropes, and when you stretch it on the sides, the scratch comes off the covers for the windows, so in heavy rain with wind, some water enters the sides. Already from the 4th summer, it has small holes on the top, so in rains, it drips a considerable amount of water inside. Overall, it is a very tall tent and in extreme weather conditions, such as in Chiladou and in the furnaces of Ikaria, it barely held up... but I always had anxiety and didn't feel secure. I bought 30 cm pegs and always put stones or bags with stones.
So it basically lasted 4-5 summers out of 5-6 weeks each (and only 1 week the last one), so logically the life of the new model is similar if not shorter
Guys, the tent for summer is super and I'm telling you this with great knowledge and experience from tents. The most important thing is that it has 2 large doors with screens and two very large windows also with screens, so it is incredibly cool unlike any other I have seen or tried. The construction materials are also very good and have not caused any problems. The size of the four-person tent that I bought with a vestibule is ideal for two people, especially in the summer. I bought it two years ago for 125€ and now I see that it has slightly increased in price. I consider it a reliable and very beautiful tent, but it also requires a little care when packing it for the next time. It needs proper folding, so put it in a larger backpack than the one you bought it in. It won't easily fit back into its original packaging. Advice: Never buy a summer tent if it doesn't have large openings. That is the most important thing. Leave the high waterproofing for mountaineers. Be careful, the size is quite large, so always secure it with all the stakes and cords it has. Don't set it up like many people do with only 4 pegs and then complain that it broke. Finally, get a tarp when you go camping. It helps and can also be used as a tool to remove the pegs. Don't hit them with rocks.
I have had it for 5 years and it hasn't suffered the slightest. Especially this year, it endured heavy rain for a three-day period and not a single drop got in
I chose it because of the brand among similar ones, considering it the most reliable.
+ Easy to set up, black mosquito net that doesn't let sunlight in the morning, large openings.
- After 2 summers, a small piece of plastic from the frame broke (I removed it completely), and the fabric tore on the roof. I temporarily fixed it with aluminum tape.
When it's windy, sand gets in.
Overall, the materials don't impress me, the fabric is very thin, a zipper on the outside ripped at the edge. I think it won't hold up in heavy rain, although I haven't tested it in practice.
