If you are in a phase where you are trying to cover warm "bars" or mistakes made at a hair salon (like in my case), this dye is just what you need! I was very satisfied, as it covered the warm brown shades that were left from the mistake, and transformed the color into something more uniform and dark! HOWEVER, this particular shade is really dark, I would say it came out almost black! But that was exactly what I needed to balance my color!!! I will choose it again and maybe combine it with the toner from Igora 3.00 next time!!
The dye lasts, the color came out as I wanted. What I didn't like is that my hair, even though I used conditioner, is very dry; it doesn't leave it soft like other dyes.
It came exactly as I ordered, however it would be good if the boxes weren't dented. The products inside the boxes are all fine.
For ten years, I have been dyeing my hair black-blue with the dye from the company Faipa / Sicura. The irritation I had for days and the itching is indescribable; the color wouldn't come off my skin no matter what. So, I tried Igora for the first time due to the good reviews, and indeed, I am completely satisfied. No irritation, no discomfort at all. The color washed off my skin after the very first wash; I didn't expect that. The duration of the result for the color I chose is just fine; it doesn't turn red after a few washes like many dyes do. I highly recommend it!!!!
Please tell me what color the dye was when you opened it and placed it in the bowl..the 0-88 mixed
I used Igora's L88 for a long time! The color came out instantly from the first application, its duration is impeccable, it did not fade as I read from other users, nothing at all! The only downside, due to the intensity of the color, you need to reapply every 20-25 days because especially if the root is dark it creates a big and ugly contrast! I have been using it for at least 6 months! Also, for those of you looking at the comments, know that everyone's opinion and situation is subjective as it depends on each person's tastes and desired results, as for the duration that I read in all the reviews I see 50/50 comments, so do not rely on that! I give it 4 stars only for the reapplication every 20 days and not for the quality of the dye!
By far the best hair dye I have ever used for copper color. I have been dyeing my hair in similar shades for 10 years now. Therefore, I have used many dyes. And in terms of application, color, and coverage, it is the best dye I have used. The color does not fade much (almost not at all in the winter) and with good maintenance, you will always have shiny hair with uniform color. Use a 20-volume developer for the ends (if they are already light) and a 30-volume developer for your roots (if your hair is already dyed and you want to lighten it). 45 minutes for the roots and 10-15 minutes for the ends is an OK time for my hair. Always consult at least a video of experts. They are very helpful.
I first bought it when I wanted to become a copper color, but I saw that as a first dye it is not correct. It will dye the hair, but somehow it gently blondes it. In no case is it the copper color that I was thinking of, the full and intense one. In order not to throw it away, I use it together with another dye as a combination and it has a nice result, but not on its own. I feel that with a milder oxidant on already blonde hair, it would have a nice result, but I start from a Brown 4-5
It removed the orange color from my hair and it looked as if it was my natural color. I mixed it with 7-50 and 8-50.
I used the mix tone on copper dyed hair for a more intense result. It did not bring the expected outcome, but it has to do with the shade and not the dye
I tried the 8.77 hair dye in natural light brown (first time dyeing my hair).
I used a 30-volume developer from the same range.
For a DIY dye job and a first attempt (I have no idea about hair dyes and hair processing), I am completely satisfied.
It mixes very easily with the developer, it didn't give me any trouble at all. Now, after 21 days, I can see that I will need a touch-up in about a week, for the roots. Of course, I will buy it again.
Very good paint etc etc, one positive thing that I have never seen before is that it mixes very easily with the developer, meaning the paint is not thick and you can quickly untangle it
Very good paint, I consistently buy the 8-77 along with the 077. Amazing color, it just needs more frequent painting than once a month...
As a hairdresser and a woman who has dyed her hair black, blonde, brown, and red, I have to say that I wouldn't change it for any other dye. No matter what shade I have tried, I have never been disappointed
Very good dye the 8-77 and 7-77 with 20 developer, both caught on my light brown hair (natural), and also have a good duration (washing every 3 days). Ideally combined with a color mask during washes for a more intense result.
Very good dye, almost guaranteed result. Generally, Whites are not the easiest to work with, especially for 50% white and above, you should work with a 20 volume developer (6%) and if there is a -00 version in the igora range you are using, choose the -00 instead of the -0, it has much better coverage on whites.
I combined 7.77 and 8.77
After a recommendation for intense copper
Very nice result, full coverage with 20 volume developer
Edit: It didn't fade after washing
I have tried other well-known brands and they faded after the first wash
Not with Igora
I combined 7.77 and 8.77.
After a recommendation for intense copper.
Very nice result, full coverage with a 20-volume developer.
Edit: It didn't fade after washing.
I have tried other well-known brands, but they faded after the first wash.
Not with Igora
Very good dyes, I give one less star because the smell caused me intense discomfort in breathing.
The color is wonderful! I did balayage at home, and the bottom part of the hair is 6.99 after bleaching though. Excellent!
Very nice shade (9-98) and long-lasting, with proper care. It applied evenly and easily came off the skin. The only negative is that it stains everywhere, even with a very good wash. I noticed that heat helped with this.
Yes, it is a very good dye, but does it only fade on me everywhere? On clothes, pillowcases, nails, hands... basically on everything! I should mention that this only happens with the red shade, not with other ones I have used.
By far the best paint I have ever purchased, in terms of coverage, result, and longevity. I have been using them for the past 6 years and I am completely satisfied. And I must add that their price is quite good.
Very good coverage even on white hair and leaves a uniform result on roots and ends! It mixes easily with developer, has a large quantity, and does not irritate the scalp!
It is generally a very good company, I have been using it for years for its brown products, with which I was very satisfied. However, I was not equally satisfied with the red ones. They did not have the performance I wanted (and which I found in other companies). However, overall it is a very high-quality company. I just consider the red ones to be better in other companies.
The worst in dyeing!!!! I dyed them black and with 5 washes they turned brown. First time dyeing fades so much!!! The same goes for the red color I had before, the color immediately disappeared again!!
I tried the shade 5-00 to darken my light brown hair a bit, and it turned out pitch black! Overall, I use this brand and I am satisfied when I choose the shade 6-00.
I bought it in order to cancel out any red that had been dyed into my hair from previous dyes, as I had tried color removers and they didn't do anything. I used this specific product without any shade. The result was that my hair returned to its natural black color and the white hairs were not as noticeable. It doesn't have any unpleasant smell at all. My hair didn't show any signs of damage. I would buy it again
I wanted a dye for my natural hair, which is a 5.
So I bought the 5, dyed my hair according to the instructions (I have very healthy hair without any gray) and the color came out way too dark, like a 2 or 3.
No matter how high quality and skin-friendly a dye is, if the color doesn't turn out as advertised, unfortunately, you get disappointed.
Obviously, next time I will buy a different brand.
Beautiful result and hydration on the ends.
Update 1 week later: my hair faded significantly
