With clockwise rotation, the space is heated in winter, while with counterclockwise rotation, the space is cooled in summer.
In this way, you facilitate the circulation of warm air trapped in the ceiling and save up to 30% on heating costs.

What is the benefit of the reverse blade rotation direction?

A ceiling fan operating in the reverse direction (clockwise) during the winter, transfers warm air from the ceiling to the lower layers of the space.

I have had it for 3 years. The first year we had to change the control board because the fan would shut off and the light would turn on in the middle of the night, the problem was not solved and the dealership also changed the motor and the problem was solved. In the 3 years now, with only summer use, the motor makes a noise. The issue is that I have ceiling fans from Telco in the rest of the house that cost 1/3 of the price and they work without any problems.
I bought it because they say you get what you pay for. I truly believe that it is not worth spending so much money.

Recent owner of this particular product and I have to say that it is exactly what I had in mind. Completely silent on the first setting, slight hint of noise on the second, and normal noise on the third. It seems very stable. It has not been tested in extreme heat, but the initial results are extremely satisfying. I bought it a year ago (May 2015). It worked for a few times and then after 2.5 months, the electronic speed controller that controls the blinking and the light burned out. It took me over a month and 75€ to find a compatible controller since it was not available anywhere I looked in Greece. The 10-year warranty only covers the motor.
