But who are these creators who defined the evolution of fashion with their style? The reader, starting from the oldest, who if he lived in our time would be characterized, much to his displeasure, as a fashion influencer, the marvelous Beau Brummell, will reach the first decades of the 20th century, to meet the secretive Mariano Fortuny and the exuberant Paul Poiret. A little later, they will meet the persistent Madeleine Vionnet and the incredible Elsa Schiaparelli. A decade before the century is completed, they will discover Manolo Blahnik, the shoemaker who loves lizards, and finally, the wild romantic tailor, Alexander McQueen.
