Both of my cats loved the smell and played constantly with the ball. Unfortunately, the plastic at the tip broke quickly and the ball no longer stands on its base, yet they continue to chase it.
-1 star for the plastic breaking quickly.

3-month-old kitten was completely indifferent, it is a very small ball, perhaps smaller than a ping pong ball, and its base sticks to the floor. Since mine was indifferent, I threw it away after a few weeks.
