I did not encounter any of the negative comments and remarks. I am excited about this particular TV and I believe that for the money it is worth 100%. Flawless picture and sound. We enjoy movies from Disney Plus and from Ertflix. In my opinion, you should place the bases in the outer positions for full stability. The commands, as mentioned in other comments, have an immediate response and as Harry Klinn said, if I were to change it, I would get the same one again. I give it a 10 out of 10, always of course based on the cost. There are certainly many much better ones, but at this price I find it very difficult...
I give 1 star because you have listed the VESA mount incorrectly, it states 100x100 while in practice it is 75x75. I will have to buy another mount and make new holes in the wall just because you have listed the specifications incorrectly...
They have and we say: A decade-old processor slow as a turtle, impossible channel sorting and a screen below zero, if this is FHD 2024 then I am Spanish and now I am writing to you in Spanish.. The main thing is it DOES NOT play Disney+ and it DOES NOT connect in any way to a Google Play account.. I regret very much buying it for €177.50 altogether.. The only positive is that it works relatively well on YouTube, although it should not be considered a plus for a television of 2024 and well.. If someone reads this comment and takes it seriously, DO NOT buy it and spend 20 to 30 euros more to get an LG or Samsung.. That's all, have a good continuation..
What I mainly liked about this particular television is that it has an absolutely understandable navigation menu & it is very easy to adjust, and also, comparing it with the previous television I had, its brightness is very good and does not strain the eyes.
The response to any command (even to change the channel and volume) is very slow, which is quite frustrating and makes it difficult to use. However, for its price, it's fine. The picture is satisfactory.
The worst thing I bought, it doesn't close with a single press. It opens and closes by itself for no reason, it constantly freezes. Slow movement in all its functions. Even with the channels. Wasted money. Stay away from this brand.
Everything is fine, except for the capabilities of the processor. As a TV box, it is unfortunately too slow, making it impossible to perform media player tasks. It constantly freezes when trying to stream 1080p and, of course, with anything beyond that.
Very good! At 200 euros, the 43-inch on sale is perfect! It has everything the average viewer needs. It lacks nothing. Well done, Toshiba! Absolute satisfaction for what it offers.
I am writing with a few days of experience as some might be looking due to Black Friday.
- First of all, I must say that the 40-inch category is dead, and if you have space, look for 43 inches for roughly the same money. I was on the edge and couldn't get a 43'.
- This particular Toshiba is manufactured in Turkey by Vestel, just like Toshiba, Hitachi, Polaroid, JVC, Bush, Alba, Finlux.
- As for the build quality, it is obviously budget with a thin plastic base, a ridiculous VESA 100 x 100. The screws needed for the VESA are M4. Be careful with the length; measure with a toothpick how far it goes in.
- It is indeed a 2024 model, but with Android 11, which was widely released in 2021. Obviously, there won't be any updates because it would have been included in the factory if the hardware could support a later Android version. Therefore, in the future, some apps may not work on the TV if, for example, they require Android 12. It’s more likely that you will have changed your TV by then, of course. Today, the latest version of Netflix requires 7.
- The hardware mentions 3.4 GB of storage and no information about the CPU. Generally, Android runs decently. It’s not lightning-fast like on a Sony that I have, which is two years old but of a different category. If you give many commands at once, you will see a bit of a lag.
- The hybrid works just fine, the Wi-Fi connected immediately even with quite a few obstacles (walls, etc.), and I don’t see any problems. Hopefully, it stays that way.
- Initially, the picture was very bright in the blacks. There is some setting for backlight, and I set it to low, and it came out satisfactorily.
- The HD channels play nicely, the SD ones have a bit of pixelation up close.
- The channel switching is satisfactorily quick without being annoying.
Overall, for the €200 I spent, for a bedroom TV with some capabilities, I think it’s a good case for someone who doesn’t look too much for detail. I will come back if anything changes
For 200€, a fair offer... easy menu, quick response, immediate NET connection.... you will definitely see some hiccups, e.g. after watching YouTube, a slight delay when returning to the TV..., nothing major... if it develops any quirks, I don't know... I repeat, for its price it seems very honest!!!... otherwise, you lay down 500-600 euros and go for the sure thing
It's worth it more than enough! Excellent sound and very good picture even though it's not 4K, for the vacation home I bought it for, I consider it the best choice!
I consider it to be a very good purchase. I bought it as a second one and I have the impression that it is better than the first one which is branded. Good menu and applications, but the most impressive thing is that it has no backlight bleed at all!
This TV is a little bit complicated to use.
The menu is not clear enough if you wish to adapt your choices.
