The Easy-UPS by APC by Schneider Electric is Line Interactive technology and offers guaranteed power and surge protection for computers, gaming consoles, and other electronics at home or in the office.
The Easy-UPS unit by APC by Schneider Electric with a power of 650W/1.2kVA provides temporary backup power during power outages and unstable voltage fluctuations as well as protection from destructive surges and "spikes."
It is the perfect choice to protect your sensitive electronic devices. At your disposal are LED indicators (e.g., connected, battery operation) as well as audible alerts (e.g., low battery warning, temperature, etc.) for managing the UPS.
The "automatic voltage regulation" function boosts/reduces the AC voltage when it falls below or exceeds safe levels. This allows the equipment connected to the unit to operate under low/high voltage conditions and maintain battery power in the event of a power outage.
The Easy UPS switches to battery power mode when the input voltage level is too high/low for the "automatic voltage regulation" to compensate or in the event of irregular AC power.
The APC Easy UPS BVX1200LI-GR is capable of temporarily silencing alarms that require corrective actions from the user, such as in the case of battery power operation.
During such alarms, a short press (less than 2 seconds) of the POWER button will temporarily mute the alarm until the issue is resolved.
A short double beep will confirm that the "quick mute" function has been activated. Pressing the POWER button for more than 2 seconds will turn off the UPS (e.g., in the case of other critical events).

In 1.5 years it broke down. It started making a strange noise one day and stopped working. The few times it needed to be used, it didn't work properly.
I bought it about 2 years ago and last week it started making noise on its own. I would turn it off and on again and it would continue doing the same thing. I had already replaced the battery over time (unjustifiable for the supposed quality we paid for) and they tell me it is out of warranty. Stay away. Such a waste of money.
I bought 2 with a few days difference. The multiple voltage drops due to the nearby fires in my area made them "go crazy". One failed multiple times to keep the devices powered and eventually broke (I also noticed battery swelling). I spoke with technical support (very fast and helpful) and I am waiting for a replacement. The second one also failed to keep the devices powered in 2-3 instances. It seems to still be working but I no longer trust it.
In the first few days, they did indeed have a smell as others have mentioned. Compact devices but ultimately not very practical as outlets do not have enough space (corner outlets create a huge issue), and the entire device seems to have poor thermal behavior.
The settings through the device's only button are also a problem. You constantly play with the seconds you hold the button pressed.
If I buy again from the same company, I will look more into the Back-UPS Pro series.
UPDATE 7/8/23: about a month later, the second one also broke. The service/replacement, etc. was fast again but what can you do? I no longer trust it... I will buy another one and this one will collect dust. I would have expected some flexibility from the company regarding replacement options (maybe with a different model), but they were completely formal in the "replacement within warranty" aspect.
After one year, the battery and the cooling fan broke down.
But it will be replaced with a new one; I got an immediate response from the company, so I probably got a defective one.
