  I have bought 4 bottles before I bought this specific one. All of them broke within a week at best. The child used to go to kindergarten and now he is in preschool. We have had it for a year and a half and we only change the straws. Despite his ambitious efforts, the little one has not managed to break it! It has fallen on pebbles, from a full height, it has been dragged on concrete, it has been stood on. I'm telling you, the bottle is a beast. The straws wear out easily (for us) but due to intensive abuse. I would like the straws to be longer. As for the smell: we have a filter that removes chlorine, so there is a little smell. Get it with your eyes closed, kids!
