The Samyang 50 mm T1.5 AS UMC lens is designed for cameras with a photosensitive sensor of 24x36mm or smaller. It provides a 46.2-degree field of view and, thanks to its high brightness of T1.5 (f/1.4), it is an excellent tool in low-light conditions, ensuring excellent image quality and shallow depth of field.

The lens optics consist of nine lens elements in six groups (including one aspherical and one hybrid aspherical lens element). To ensure high contrast and faithful color reproduction, all lens elements are covered with multi-layer anti-reflective UMC coatings.

The Samyang 50mm T1.5 VDSLR lens ensures exceptionally smooth and aesthetic reproduction for out-of-focus areas beyond the focus plane, creating the so-called bokeh effect. Thanks to the eight-blade diaphragm, subjects outside the depth of field are presented with exceptionally smooth characteristics.
