It is very good value for its price. It cooks relatively quickly and very deliciously. It is definitely not like the Fissler, but still, for its price, it is more than it should be.
very economical. flawless and very safe. slightly unpleasant the retention of odors in the silicone rubber on the lid. anyone who knows a way to remove the odors please publish it.
Overall, for the money it costs, it is decent. Easy to use after reading the instructions. It takes a little longer to reach temperature and the cooking time has gone from 10 minutes to 15 minutes. Always in comparison to the Fissler I had before. Of course, I didn't expect anything of the same quality as the Fissler because it is half the price. The plastic parts, handles, and valve seem to be of good quality, but they are by no means suitable for heavy and careless use. The pot can be washed in the dishwasher, but not the lid and the valve. The rubber seems to be of average quality, and the instructions mention changing it every year, which concerns me. As a spare part, it is economical, though. Time will tell... I should add that the usage I do is almost daily. If you are new to using a pressure cooker, it would be good to read the USER INSTRUCTIONS VERY CAREFULLY, as this is a device that operates under steam pressure and you must adhere to every safety measure.
I give it 5 stars because it is a VFM pot from a reputable company with years of presence in our kitchens.
I will return with a second review after some time of use.
The volume is more than enough for several people. The build quality is also very good. Unfortunately, the small bottom (15cm) fits the small eye, resulting in it taking a long time to heat up. Once it gets going, it's just fine. The total preparation time for the bean soup was 2 hours, with cooking for 1 hour and a quarter after the valve whistles. It may have taken half an hour to heat up to the boiling point (whistling). If you have the option to get the one with the 23cm bottom, prefer it, even though it’s more expensive. Otherwise, boil the water first in a kettle. Anyway, I do not regret the purchase.
Excellent build quality, very good valve, more functional than the old Fissler with the grooved valve - good luck finding the difference between meat and vegetables
I have had it for over a year and it really does the job as it should. Before I started using it, I read the instructions to learn about the recommended cooking times so that the food wouldn't stick or there wouldn't be anything worse. I mainly cook legumes on an induction cooktop, which thicken very nicely, and soups, in which the pressure cooker generally adds something extra as it retains all the nutrients and additional flavor.
The pressure cooker also has a steaming basket with a simple metal base.
It seems to be a sturdy construction; what I don't know if it will last (as I have no relevant experience) is the valve, which is made of plastic. So far, I consider it a good value for money choice. That's it, I hope I helped.
It does its job, the pot is tall and not elongated but 8 liters. In its operation, it depends on each housewife, for example, some want the stews more cooked, others do not, so the instructions in the manual may not correspond exactly to the minutes given for each dish. Otherwise, a quality simple pot at a good price.
Very satisfied with the purchase. Practical size, not too big nor too small, lightweight for a pot, easy to open/close, many safety valves. My only concern is the removable plastic valve, I wonder how long it will last over time. I hope many years! Time will tell!
Top-notch pot, I have gas burners and I cook on the coffee burner example turned all the way down in 20 minutes ground beef.......that is, almost zero fuel....
Tefal 8l pressure cooker is very good and has three safety valves, what I don't like is that it has a small bottom 150 millimeters.
I just want to emphasize that you must read the instructions very carefully before using it because using a pressure cooker can be dangerous.
We wanted to buy a pressure cooker and following the reviews didn't disappoint me, very good and light.
It fits all stoves very well and the basket inside for steam cooking at the price of 69 euros is very good compared to the competition when the equivalent German well-known company sells it for 170 euros, it's definitely not worth paying so much!!!!!!
The cooking times are as stated in the instruction manual!
In general, if you are considering it, get it! Tefal is also the next category after Fissler. Highly quality and value for money!
It seems to be good, what I don't like is that it has a small bottom of 150 millimeters. The closure has a difficulty because the rubber pushes outwards and you need to press the lid from above in order to seal it. The price exceeds 100 euros, I consider it overpriced when you can find a 7-liter one for 68 euros. The difference of one liter is not something significant, so I prefer the 7-liter one for 68 euros
