The phone is VFM.
After the latest update, it runs all the Google apps normally, except for Google Wallet.
Even any bugs with Messenger and other notification apps have been fixed.
It charges incredibly fast and generally, while I use it a lot, the battery lasts.
The photos outperform iPhone and Samsung.
The video has improved a lot, but it still needs some work, which is still very good.
The screen is upgraded and the software is also very fast compared to the previous ones.
The device is top-notch, there are no words; it does everything and many of these things it does better than other devices from the competition.
I don't know how much better the ultra could be; it definitely doesn't justify the 700 more they ask for, just for a slightly better zoom.

Purchased for €800 two weeks ago, at this price I consider the phone to be the best value for money available. The camera has already been tested in very difficult night conditions and it truly works wonders; the way it processes what you photograph is amazing and it provides the corresponding realism you want, while it emphasizes certain colors when necessary. Obviously, during the day it handles everything very easily, the ultra-wide lens is slightly lacking as is logical, since the best one is in the ultra. The screen is delightful, the battery is satisfactory (it could last a bit longer). It charges ridiculously fast with a 100-watt charger and cable in the box. It's super fast and there are no issues anymore with 99% of the apps. I will return if needed.
amazing camera !! you feel like you have a professional camera !! As a phone, it does the basics like all, but its camera is really on another level! 5/5 stars from me
Coming from the Huawei Mate 20 Pro, which served me well for 6 trouble-free years, with the last 2 needing more frequent charging, the Pura is a complete disappointment. It's basic and tragic for Huawei; it lacks essential applications, resulting in having to install one app to access all the others, with many minor issues, notification delays, malfunctions, and more. As long as it accepts them directly, everything is fine. Compared to the old one that ran everything flawlessly, if I had known I would have such issues with the Pura, I wouldn't have chosen it. It's not something you expect from a phone of this value. The 4 stars are for the rest.
After the epic P60 Pro, now the Pura 70 Pro! The phone, like its predecessor, is a powerhouse. Cameras, battery life, display, sound, it's amazing. MicroG is installed in the AP Gallery, which you simply download, enter your email, and you have all the Google apps, except for Wallet, which you can easily replace with Curve. This is for anyone who wants Google. Memory 12/512, processor from Huawei, Kirin, yes it's at 7nm, but personally I don't see any difference from others. Software is classically flawless, etc. In conclusion, we have a phone that offers everything, at a price below 1000 euros, which other well-known and lesser-known exceptional companies ask for a kidney and liver. Oh, of course in the box, a 100W charger, with dual ports to charge 2 devices simultaneously, a case, and a screen protector already applied. That's it from me. We are now waiting for the Mate 70 Pro series. I hope to see it here too.
P.S. I would also like to see the Ultra!
Good evening guys, as a holder of the Huawei P40 Pro and now the Huawei Pura 70 Pro, I can say that Huawei is entering the game even more dynamically. The phone runs smoothly, it doesn't lag, you have all the apps through Gbox, photos and videos are taken perfectly. The battery lasts about a day depending on usage, but if you put it on turbo charge, it reaches 50% in 20 minutes. In games, it performs perfectly, there isn't a single negative. I haven't regretted spending even 1 euro on this phone, and I hope it continues like this so I can keep buying Huawei
It's top-notch!! The photos day - night have incredible detail!! It has a big screen!! Functionality is excellent.. and with EMUI 14.2 in just 10 minutes you have normal Google apps.. I recommend it.. it's definitely worth the money...
It's funny to discuss whether it's a good phone or not; it's a pleasure to handle... amazing camera, incredible screen, no lag in its operation... the problem is now well-known and concerns the Google apps, I want a bit of searching, for example, I had an issue connecting my account with the email, and also some notifications on Instagram you have to go into the app to see them... anyway, the more you search, the more solutions you find... for someone who doesn't know about these things, it's better to look elsewhere; for the rest, if someone finds it at a lower price, it's a steal.
update: definitely put a screen protector on it, no matter how much it says that the new screen has greater durability, it already has quite a few scratches
Well! I have been a Huawei user for the past 2 years, my previous device was the Huawei Mate 50 Pro (great device) I was just unlucky and something happened with the motherboard as they told me. The company replaced it with the Pura 70 Pro (big respect to Huawei), which is close to perfection. The cameras are really like having a DSLR in your hands, incredible photos and what really took it to another level is the video. OLED crystal screen with 120hz simply top, speed (don't look at the numbers) is bullet fast whether you're gaming or surfing. The lack of 5G has not affected me at all, it catches everywhere normally and it's bullet fast. The operating system now has reached a level where even the average user who wants to have stock Google can do so with microG. Finally, the 15 to 20 minutes for someone to set up Google and search from here to there. In 2 minutes you have all the Google apps you need. I haven't found any negatives so far! In my opinion, if you want to spend these 1200€ for a smartphone, it's the best solution.
