I mainly use the tablet for notes for studying, for classic Netflix, YouTube, etc. (even split screen Cosmote with YouTube) but also for music. However, I want to emphasize two things that are generally not mentioned as much.
We are talking about an incredible battery. Obviously, now as new, it drains very, very slowly... but it always charges frighteningly fast with the 120w. The display is clear and the sound is like a quality Bluetooth speaker. A tablet that is truly incredibly fast and has a set 60Hz resolution. I don't think I'll even take it to 144 since I don't play games.
For musicians
Something that impressed me after years of searching for the well-known latency of Android in music production, which made me consider buying an iPad, is that this particular model is so fast and has such good management that with one caveat, it can be accepted as a music production tool (I have FL Studio Mobile and I am referring to that. Generally, each app can manage sound differently, better or worse). You don't play in real-time like on the iPad at all, but you can still record drums live and quantize them. Quality very good, nice screen especially if you set it up correctly, not as fast as I would expect, probably due to RAM but the software unfortunately still needs a lot of work... P.S. 12/29/2024 After the last major update, the tablet is facing quite a few problems such as: its operation is not as smooth as before, several apps suddenly close, the notification bar sometimes does not work smoothly, and overall the tablet usage experience is not like it was before!!! I have done a factory reset twice but it does not get fixed. I'm sorry but my first experience with Xiaomi is disappointing.
