Filotimo game but only to a certain extent.
Very good sense of balance between simulation and arcade. Enjoyable gameplay, except for the small category of cars I tried, where in order to turn, you have to turn the steering wheel as if you're doing a reverse.
Apart from that, the graphics are now mediocre, the menu and career mode are very outdated. I found the second game in the series to be a tragedy. However, compared to Grid which is a boring arcade, I prefer it. But it doesn't even come close to GT-F1.

I was expecting a lot for this game to come out and I had high expectations. Maybe the huge advertising is to blame. I had seen many reviews presenting it as an authentic sim racing game but it is not... It's in the Grant Turismo category, maybe slightly better in gameplay and sound. It certainly is not the next-gen console experience that one expects.
I played the game with a Thrustmaster T500rs steering wheel.
POSITIVES
1) The feeling on the steering wheel and pedals in handling the car is very good (with traction control off).
2) Tremendous sound and the most important thing is that it is different for each car.
3) Wide range of tracks.
4) You can choose any car and race in any event (not in career mode). You don't need to level up to unlock cars.
NEGATIVES
1) Disappointing career mode! While you start off very well as an amateur driver in a cart, it becomes very boring and stagnant as you drive in races that don't give you anything. The point and interest are lost somewhere because the championships you participate in are non-existent, with many races and you race on the same tracks.
2) Graphics nothing special, no difference from the Ps3.
3) Many times it doesn't recognize the steering wheel at the start and you have to disable the Dualshock 4 to read the steering wheel.
4) There are few cars. Many of them are in different versions to make them look like many. It's inconceivable for a racing game not to have a single Ferrari.
5) The settings for driving on the steering wheel are complicated and dysfunctional.I didn't play much multiplayer so I don't have an opinion. In my opinion, it definitely is not worth its money. Unfortunately, it almost plays alone in this category for the PS4. If you have patience, wait for GT SPORT, coming out in 2017, and I believe that will be a real next-gen racing game. For PROJECT CARS, I would give a maximum of 20€.

Many options for weather conditions during the race that make the racing experience exceptional. Many possibilities to customize the car as you wish and strategic pit stop. It also has a satisfactory and extensive career mode. However, it has significant drawbacks: a very small number of cars with important absences, it definitely does not reach the level of simulation of GT and Forza, the handling is much better suited for a steering wheel and those who have one will truly enjoy it, while the weather effects need further improvement, which I believe will be enhanced in some of the updates. Overall, it is worth buying and considering that there is no similar title yet for the PS4, its purchase is necessary.

Realism has reached new levels, each car and track is different, exceptional graphics, exceptional depiction of the environment, and the sound of the cars is the most enjoyable and realistic we have encountered in a Video Game.
