Before this robot vacuum, I had a simple one that I cleaned myself. The Xiaomi x20+ takes you to another level. I've had it for 4 months and I've been saved with a German Shepherd at home.
Fantastic! It does everything by itself, for daily cleaning it is wonderful. The space is spotless, it is ideal for those who don't have time and want a clean floor. We have parquet and it cleans it fantastically. But what has amazed me is that you don't have to do anything. You leave the house and come back to a spotless floor.
I didn't expect such a good vacuum. It impressed both my wife and the cat, which says a lot! There's a little issue with the hair that you have to remove from the collector, but that doesn't mean much. Otherwise, you go for Narwal, so you understand that with a better filter, dual cameras, and double the suction power, the cost goes up. So, all good for it, and definitely vfm if that's what you're looking for.

As I don't have previous experience with another robot vacuum, to actually see results, a good cleaning of the floor (sweeping-mopping) must be done, and it should definitely be used daily for sweeping. Essentially, it maintains the space at a very good level until we clean it again. If you expect it to make your floor look like you mopped it yourself, forget it; also, if you are generally messy, it won't pick up all the little bits of trash, and sometimes a hair will be left behind, so whoever wants it should run it 2-3 times a day. For its price, it does quite a good job since we don't have time and it saves us from that daily effort, at least, so I consider it quite fair having used it daily for 2 months. Regarding mopping, if a cleaning of the space hasn't been done by us beforehand, know that the pads are likely to spread the dust that has been dampened and smear it all over the house; they just do a damp pass with plain water, but still, it makes a difference from nothing. Now, in terms of functionality, it has many pros, and with the appropriate settings that each person wants, it cleans or not where we choose, as well as where there are carpets. The noise on the high setting is like that of a regular vacuum, while if you have light mats in the bathroom, for example, it will suck them up and there is a chance it will move or topple them, thus somewhat complicating its movement. In case it gets stuck somewhere and cannot move for some reason, it will stay in that spot and send you a notification in the app, and you will have to free it yourself. Therefore, it is worth it just for doing something instead of us and freeing our hands in daily life.
I have experience from the first Xiaomi we got over 5+ years ago, and its battery died in November after 5 years of daily use! It was very useful, but since it was one of the first of its kind, it had quite a few drawbacks, especially compared to the Xiaomi X20+. This vacuum is excellent. It doesn't lose its mapping, and you can set it to clean room by room, the whole house, or a specific area. Whatever you want, basically. It mops satisfactorily and keeps your home in excellent condition. Of course, since it doesn't take liquid floors, you need to mop once a week or every 10 days, and of course, you need to use a regular vacuum cleaner every now and then for corners or surfaces it doesn't reach. It's amazing that it cleans itself and sucks up the dust into the bag. My experience with the old vacuum was very tiring in this regard, while now it's resolved!!! However, you need to check and collect the hairs it has gathered from underneath before or after each use, and empty the water after mopping, otherwise, the bin smells bad. Also, if you want cleanliness, you need to clean under the cloths every 3-4 days (or uses) because it collects a lot of dirt there. I want to say that it's not just about getting a vacuum and it does everything and that's it. You also need to put in some effort daily to keep everything clean. You need to clean the filter and the brush, etc. To "live" many years, you need to take care of it too. I found spare parts very affordable at a well-known online store from China. I've been using it now for almost 2 months, daily because there is a child and a pet in the house, and it has made me look good. Honestly, I don't know how I would live without a robot vacuum, and this is a very good choice in terms of value and features.
Cleans the top well. For those who are wondering: it doesn't suck up all the hair from the floor. Also, while mopping, it leaves marks on the parquet.
It is excellent for auxiliary, daily cleaning, in combination with weekly general cleaning. It cannot replace general cleaning. The vacuum moves smartly in the space, it doesn't get tangled with changes in the position of the chairs. The vacuuming makes noise. The mopping is more of a polishing than regular mopping: this is evident from the fact that it uses very little water compared to regular mopping. That's why I say it cannot replace general cleaning. Having said that, the 'mopping' does the job. The space looks clean, and it is clean. A big advantage is the large bin at the base. We set it to vacuum and mop, and we find the house clean, without having to be on top of it emptying bins.
If you really want to treat yourself, don't think about it at all! Just run and buy it! It cleans the floor and carpets perfectly! You can adjust exactly the areas you want it to clean! And it mops perfectly!

The hard floor has no issue being swept and mopped and does a very good job. The problem is with carpets... the vacuum has 4 depth sensors underneath and 1 camera in front that is supposed to prevent the vacuum from falling off a balcony or any stairs. The problem lies with carpets... if the carpet is dark-colored, the vacuum thinks it is about to fall from somewhere when trying to pass over the carpet and spins around doing nothing. An easy solution would be if there was an option in the app to disable these sensors, but there isn't... The solution is to cover these sensors and the front camera, and it works normally. However, if you cover the front camera, then the vacuum cannot return to its base and you have to uncover the front camera. If you want to go through this process, then go ahead and get it. I wouldn't have bought it if I had known...
While it is very good on hard floors, we have an issue with carpets. Besides the part that doesn't have the sensor for carpets, which is okay since you can add them via the app, when it goes up on them, it acts like it doesn't want to clean them. It doesn't clean them and just goes in circles around itself... Unfortunately disappointed since the old much cheaper Xiaomi 1c didn't have such issues. It's a shame because it costs €400 and I consider it unacceptable

Very good mapping, good cleaning, no problems with carpets. The only negative is the large size of the base unit.
It is very effective for sweeping as well as mopping. Because it does not have a water tank on it, in large areas it will need to return to its base to wet the cleaning cloths again with clean water.
It's good, but it takes advantage of the Xiaomi name. For its actual level, it should be at least €50 cheaper.
The best for a house with students.. the BEST!
The only downside is that the software does not use AI, so it cannot understand what each object in front of it is, resulting in it sucking up charger cables, etc... while more expensive robotic vacuums do not have this issue.. I hope that in some update the software will be upgraded to address these problems :))))
Having seen friends' vacuums and having tried the Viomi (which is a subsidiary of Xiaomi as far as I know), I have to say that I was disappointed with this one for a basic reason: the noise it produces is quite loud and does not decrease with the silent mode it has, resulting in a large house if you want to run it while you sleep in a living room that is far from the bedroom, it can be heard and disturb your sleep. For me, this is a reason to give it 3 stars because it should be quieter, like the 7-year-old Viomi I had that did the same job and was silent.
Quite skeptical about the purchase since I had no previous experience, but with its first operation, I was thrilled! Very good at vacuuming as well as mopping, it saves me a lot of time during the week since on weekends I only have to do spots behind furniture or areas it can't reach. The dust in the house and the hair has noticeably decreased; I recommend it without reservation.

I was skeptical about this purchase but I shouldn't have been... One of the best things I have ever bought! Problem-free in every way. The house is small (50m2) and it finishes in half an hour (in mop/sweep mode together). Very good performance with obstacles and everything (I have the cables tidied up)... In the master station's bin, I put deionized water which gives me 4 moppings by using deep cleaning for the cloths and returning to the base as often as possible for rinsing (the shortest option it has is to return and rinse every 5m2). Ideally, the dirty water tank should be emptied after each mopping because if the dirty water sits there, it forms sludge at the bottom of the tank. I haven't operated it on carpets yet; I will update when I do...
Perhaps the best robotic vacuum for this price with 2 tanks (clean and dirty water) and lidar + camera. The only thing you do is empty the dirty water and fill the clean one every 1 or 2 weeks.
Very satisfied with the robot vacuum. I bought it during a move to a new house. While you can just put water and mop, I was impressed that even with plain water it picked up a lot of dirt. When I put in the carpets, I saw that it satisfactorily cleaned the hair from the carpets. It cannot clean the corners well. I suggest emptying the dirty water every 2 days of use because if it stays longer, the plastic smells bad. The silent operation is not silent at all. Excellent use of wifi for when we are away from home.

I faced a serious issue with carpets.. mine are thick and fluffy..
it climbed them easily but on top of them it acted like it was delayed... it didn't know where it was going or what it was doing. like it had a stroke.. I did various experiments with the sensors because I realized that something there was wrong.. something was confusing it... after many attempts I solved it..
In front of the glass it has, there is a laser and a camera... the laser can be seen if you look at the vacuum through the camera of your phone.. preferably in a dark room... the laser saw the carpets as a very uneven environment and didn't let it go... I put a little piece of paper over the laser and the problem was solved there... it doesn't affect its operation, the map, or anything.. it goes everywhere now and doesn't stop anywhere... in the summer when I will unroll the carpets I will take it out again.. if it doesn't go on your carpets, try this then... be careful to cover ONLY the laser and NOT the camera... because then it will act like an idiot again.

Really amazing both for sweeping and mopping. It will not replace mopping in any case, but it will limit it to once every three weeks!
I have no words, it has solved our problems. The only thing it needs is a relaxed supervision of the water needed for mopping and to check every week what and how much the brush has collected. Generally, you need to take care of it and clean it, but it's nothing compared to being on top of it every day.
It doesn't automatically recognize carpets, so you will need to declare them yourself in the app.
I have had it for 2 weeks now and with 3 kids in the house, I haven't cleaned since with the conventional vacuum and mop. It is silent, although I use it while we are out of the house so the little ones don't make it remote-controlled! Personally, because mopping with just water seems a bit odd to me, I use a small amount of floor liquid, just enough so it doesn't foam and create issues later. Obviously, it can't clean corners properly, as well as very dried stains on the floor... however, you save the daily sweeping that a house with small children requires, as well as time from your daily routine. The 4 stars are purely because I have had it for a short period and I can't have a complete picture yet...
It's worth the money! Very good at both vacuuming and mopping, it's quite quiet on the first speed. I still don't have an opinion on carpets due to the season it was purchased.
This is the second vacuum that has come out defective within 10 days. The first time, every time it cleaned, it erased the maps and had to remap. It was replaced with a new one, and within 3 days, I noticed that it doesn't suck up the dust and the vacuum's motor doesn't work, and it has been sent for inspection.
