HYPERDESMO®-A500 is a single-component polyurethane-based material that polymerizes with atmospheric moisture. During polymerization (drying), it forms a hard yet elastic aliphatic membrane.
It consists of pure, elastomeric, hydrophobic, polyurethane resin which, along with special inorganic components, provides the product with excellent resistance to weather conditions, chemicals, UV solar radiation, mechanical and thermal stresses.
It is used as a coating (protective varnish) in the HYPERDESMO® System for increased resistance to solar radiation and color protection.
HYPERDESMO®-A500 does not yellow or degrade when exposed to the sun (aliphatic), even in dark colors, e.g., red.
It is applied with a roller, brush, or spray, with a consumption of 0.2-0.5 kg/m².

Incredible product. Used in Crete with intense solar radiation, over elastomeric hyperdesmo. Four summers have passed and where it was applied correctly, it is like the first day it was applied. Where there were gaps, the wear of the hyperdesmo elastomeric from the sun was evident. Great attention to application, it is transparent and requires a lot of methodicalness in the proper application to avoid leaving gaps because you can't see where you have applied it. I am absolutely sure that those who faced problems did so because their technicians applied it with gaps.
It is necessary to apply varnish on top of hyperdesmo as it provides all the quality in roof insulation and gives longevity to the insulation. If you do not apply varnish (ady-500), after 4 years the insulation will start to chalk (when touched, it leaves a white residue on the hand), thus losing its durability.
As good as hyperdesmo is, the varnish is just as useless. The money spent on purchasing, installing, and removing it when you need to reapply, you use it for reapplication in 8 years and not 15 years, as they claim.
No alteration is observed.
I found the purchase receipts, it was applied in June 2018. In a small area of 30x30 that was not coated, I remember the hyperdesmo clv started to turn yellow compared to the rest.
The worst sunscreen membrane protection that exists. After it was applied over the company's own insulation material for protection, it was observed to fade and peel off within two months! A waste of money. The company never admitted it. The burden was all mine. I will come back with a photo.
