The Saramonic VWS is a fully comprehensive windshield designed for the SR-TM1 and SR-TM7 shotgun microphones. It can also be used for microphones that do not exceed 395 millimeters in length.

An ideal solution for advanced film and television productions, the VWS is equipped with a "shock mount" system that ensures comfortable microphone suspension and the necessary isolation against unwanted vibrations.

The system consists of a single-piece thermoplastic material, which improves suspension compared to other solutions. A high-quality male/female XLR cable is inserted into the cover and runs through the aluminum handle of the cover to the flexible suspension.

This feature of the cover also eliminates the transmission of vibrations to the microphone. The entire housing is made of high-quality plastic covered with a thin layer of flexible material. Thanks to this, it does not negatively affect the sound quality in any way, facilitating the operator's work.

The front and rear parts of the housing are two domes that can be easily assembled and disassembled for proper microphone placement. At the bottom of the cover, there is an aluminum handle equipped with a 1/4" and 3/8" thread and two knobs responsible for adjusting the cover at a 180-degree angle left and right.

The handle is mounted on a special cover sled, which allows it to be freely positioned at a distance of 18.5 cm.
