very nice. At low speeds it is silent and does not disturb you. For me, it is what I needed for a good night's sleep without noise and other problems. Anyone who has an issue with air conditioning, I consider ceiling-mounted to be the best solution for a bedroom.
The fan confirms exactly what is stated in the product description. It has this unique advantage for which it is positioned: it is absolutely silent in the first 8/24. It is indeed the ideal solution for those looking for a truly silent fan, even for the lower speeds (essentially at 1/3 of its power). At 2/3 it starts to be heard, but not excessively, while at the very last speeds, there the noise is definitely noticeable, but I believe these speeds would only be used in case someone does not want (or does not have) to use an air conditioner. In my opinion, I would not characterize it as cheap or expensive, if we consider the criterion of searching for an "absolutely silent fan" like this one, as long as someone does some research and realizes it immediately.
Honest for its price, its only disadvantage is that it does not retain the settings in memory once it is turned off, it needs to be adjusted again once you turn it on again. Smooth operation, very good in power, completely silent on low settings, worth buying for the 80 euros I got it for.
I received it yesterday, it's fantastic, very good quality, quiet and definitely worth its money.
With a five-year warranty, I will have peace of mind.
It was purchased because it is marketed as the quietest and to replace a fan in the bedroom that at the 1st level gave 50 db. EXCELLENT!!! nice quality, sturdy and for the levels we use it for sleep max 5 it really can't be heard! Time will tell but with the 5-year warranty of the company I am not worried about its durability!
In general, it is a good fan, with good quality plastics, easy assembly, and 24 speeds.
As for its operation, it is quiet up to the 9th speed. From there and up to the 18th speed, the noise becomes noticeable and increases, almost in proportion to the speed. However, this is noise caused by the airflow and the blades, not the motor. At the highest speeds, from the 19th and above, the noise of the motor becomes noticeable, resulting in a quite noisy operation, which is accompanied by a large, almost unnecessary airflow.
Personally, for sleeping with the fan at 1 meter from the bottom of the bed, I use speeds 1-3. For use of the fan in the living room, I use speeds 12-16.
In any case, let's not forget that a fan only causes the existing air to flow in the room and cannot be compared to the operation of an air conditioner.
As for the characteristics of the fan, the 24 speeds are excessive. Due to the many speeds, it would be advisable for a quicker transition to more distant speeds with prolonged pressing of the speed buttons (±).
In the pros: good construction, performance, quiet, low consumption.
In the cons: the touch screen is difficult to operate. Sometimes you have to press a button multiple times. Therefore, I prefer using the remote control. It has 24 speeds, unnecessary in my opinion. I think the 6 speeds of the previous model were more than enough. To reach the maximum speed and have good performance, you have to press the button 24 times. With the classic fan, you simply pressed one button. The programs it has also seem unnecessary, unless I haven't realized their usefulness. Overall, I believe that all the extra features they have added in terms of technology are impressive, but they have minimal usefulness in a fan, which makes it unnecessarily expensive.
Looking for a fan in 2 department stores, I chose this one mainly for the quality of its materials and for its label of being silent. The fact that it was sold out in the first department store may not have been so random since it is a modern, beautiful fan made with good materials, silent and most importantly only 28 watts. Its price is a bit high but it compensates when you put it to work as it is completely silent even at the 9th speed out of the 24 it has.
The fan was recently purchased. It has a very good construction and its base is heavy and stable. Also, at low speeds (it has a total of 24 speeds!), you don't hear anything, which makes it ideal for nighttime sleep.
This is the second Morris I have bought and it is better than the first one, really quiet, beautiful, sturdy construction and easy assembly. I bought it yesterday, so I can't say anything about durability yet ... we'll see. It has 24 speeds, not 3 as stated in the description
