Impressive how much noise it cuts. If this is the cheapest one from 3M and it works like this, imagine the more expensive ones.
I deduct one star because it is a bit short, borderline in height.
As for how tiring it is in long-term use, that will become apparent over time.

The 3M Peltor Optime I ear defenders are excellent. I didn't buy them for professional reasons, but for personal use at home. I am very bothered by all kinds of neighborhood noises: dogs barking in chorus, neighbors in the opposite apartment building arguing at noon, all kinds of vehicles, a neighbor's alarm going off at random hours, the rooftop party, etc. Since I didn't find the classic earplugs that go inside the ear comfortable, I decided to try the Peltor ear defenders. They served me very well. I wear them every time I want to block out external noises and enter the realm of tranquility. Of course, I still hear sounds, but at a very low volume. I found my peace of mind. Sometimes I even sleep with them on. In this case, I use a travel pillow to insert the yellow bulky part of the Peltor into the hole. I would buy them again and again and again.
