You should get it as a gift for Christmas!!!! We're talking about a fantastic product, only compare it to expensive MALT WHISKY, personally I would prefer it with higher alcohol content. Wonderful aromas, a bit of wood, something smoky, oak, and in the aftertaste banana and milk chocolate. It's a shame to miss it from your collection, pair it with a cigar, preferably DAVIDOFF MILLENNIUM ROBUSTO.

Metaxa is not made from wheat (whiskey-vodka), it is not made from herbs (gin), it is not made from sugarcane (rum), it is not made from agave (tequila).
Metaxa is made from a blend of aged wines from select grape varieties, which are combined with exceptionally sweet muscats from Lemnos and Samos, and then flavored with a secret blend of herbs.
The taste and aftertaste it leaves you with are incredible.
Even the highest quality and most expensive whiskies pale in comparison.
They are even better than "good" French cognacs (Hennessy, Courvoisier).
Do you want something affordable with a strong flavor? Get the 3-star.
Do you want something with a gentle taste of fruits, flowers, and vanilla? Choose the 5-star.
Do you want something like the 5-star, but with a more "sophisticated" flavor and a longer aftertaste? Try the 7-star.
Do you like the taste of coffee, smoky wood (not me), dried fruits? You're in for the 12-star.
Do you prefer very aged spirits? Try the private reserve, aged for 30 years and producing unique flavors.

Did you find this review helpful?Smooth and full of flavor to the point of addiction. 2 medium ice cubes in a low glass, you let 1 to 2 minutes pass for the anger to go away and all the aromas to come. I tried it because of the comments I read. It exceeded my expectations by far. It's not for indulgence. As a distillate of so many years, although smooth in taste, it needs a brake on the 3rd glass. Its flavor stays in the mouth for so long that you can enjoy a glass for at least an hour. Excellent product.

I bought it from my city's liquor store for 44.70 for 700ml, but I haven't regretted it at all. It is indeed a very good drink. It has a big difference compared to the 7.
