Very good, simple, honest watch with the basics.. It doesn't get damaged and is user-friendly, but the indiglo lighting is not that bright. I got it on sale for 29 euros and bought it, it's not worth 80-90 that I see it now, at most 50 euros for a simple Timex..
EXCELLENT! Purchased (on sale, €18) on 15/11/2018. Today, 25/11/2019, with one year of experience, I analyze it:
Quality of external material comparable to CASIO (for prices under €50). Button quality is probably inferior (but OK). Strap quality - fastening SUPERIOR to CASIO. Time accuracy is the same or slightly inferior (it gains about 1 second every week, or less than a minute a year). Something that many ignore is that ALL watches "lose" a bit. The more quality ones lose about 10-20 sec/year and the average of decent ones is at 40-70 sec/year.
WATER RESISTANCE: Absolute. And I take baths in the sea with it, etc. etc... Flawless.
HANDLING: Incomparably superior to any CASIO. I would say that CASIO insults the intelligence of the user. 1) They do NOT have alarms that can be set for working days, etc. If you set it to ring at 06:00 in the morning, it will wake you up on the weekend!!! or you have to remember to turn it off and turn it back on... disgrace. THESE ISSUES ARE SOLVED IN TIMEX! 2) In CASIO, when we make some adjustment, the "upper" button DECREASES (!!!) the numbers and the lower one increases (Japanese logic), In TIMEX it is done with Western logic. 3) And when we go to the lighting, the INDIGLO of TIMEX has the ability (if we choose it) to light up for a few seconds EVERY time we press ANY button. Thus, we can operate all its functions in complete darkness! In CASIO, this simply does NOT exist (perhaps in some SOLAR models).
Since I mentioned solar, it’s wasted money, as the (small) rechargeable battery inside them is not expected to last more than 10-15 (max) years due to wear of its chemicals. After that, you simply throw away the expensive watch. The "non-solar" ones need a fresh battery every 5 or 7, or even 10 years (depending) and will last forever.
Excellent watch from purchases you will not regret
