From the beginning, what impressed me was its low weight and the remote control made of poor quality plastic. When it first started operating, its software had a problem. Overall, the television is slow. The image broke three times and showed intense distortions, lines. The image would only recover when the TV was unplugged and then plugged back in. Factory reset had no effect. The image quality is mediocre. Its return for inspection as defective was approved and I am waiting for the result.
The television for its price is amazing. The only negative is the menu, although this gets used to over time.
Fast menu, nice design, great sound/image, various settings options for sound/image, excellent remote control, screen sharing with iPhone works perfectly. I can't find any drawbacks, for its price and its category (QLED) it's value for money as they say in my village
Amazing picture, I was blown away, amazing sound, easy to handle, quick channel switching, and the microphone responds incredibly!!!!
Considering that this particular television is one of the cheaper QLEDs and without much searching in the settings, I would say it has a user-friendly menu and quite good sound. However, the most important thing in a TV is the picture, and here we have a satisfactory picture when you are looking straight on, but it does get slightly distorted if you look even 20 degrees to the right or left. This observation is made from a distance of about 2.5 meters from the screen and may not be noticeable from a greater distance.

I am concerned about the difficulty of accessing the main menu. It also does not work with high-capacity USB sticks. With a connection to a satellite dish, the receiver did not find any channels.

The only issue I have is that in some cases it exhibits clouding (it doesn't have uniform black across the entire screen). I will look into the menu to see if I can fix it - if it can't be fixed, I will talk to the store where I bought it and request a replacement, because this particular television may be problematic. Other than that, however, the television is worth more than its price, both in terms of sound and image. I will return after I deal with its settings.
Quite a good TV for its price, nice picture, perhaps the best you can get at this price up to €500, very decent sound... but it has some minor issues with the software, it has some glitches and freezes, but generally okay. For its price, I would describe it as vfm. It should be noted that at the time of this review, I have had it for about 3 months... If any serious issues arise, I will update.
The 43" TV for this specific time period (late 2024) is the best you can get for up to 350 euros. I got it for 330 and I am extremely satisfied. I will start with the 2-3 negatives.
It is direct LED, the lower category of LCD panels. Nevertheless, it is one of the brightest brands on the market, with Sony being the top. Its blacks are good, but in very dark scenes, we notice clouding spots; however, we are still talking about a 330 euro Google TV. Sometimes we will see blurriness in fast motion, especially in the background of the image or in scenes where the shot is distant. This is very common in 60Hz TVs; there is nothing we can do about it; for 60Hz and above, you need to spend at least 400 euros at best, otherwise, you go for F&U. Viewing angle mmmmmm, here we have an issue. We have the known fading on the left and right but also up and down. If I had to estimate, I would say that with 5 people in a row, with the 1st in the middle, the phenomena would start from the 4th, and the 5th sees a different image from the 1st.
On the positive side, I will say that the image is very V/M and the sound, really with the stereo speakers from ONKYO, surprised me. On Xbox One X, my experience is excellent. Also, on NOVA, the image and sound are equally excellent. Build quality with the metal frame is much better than the plastic ones in other brands. Very thin and it is truly edge. The Google TV does not lag; on the contrary, it runs very fast, and generally, the smart part works perfectly; TCL is famous for this. I noticed some freezes after many days of endless YouTube, Netflix, etc., and logically, the cache gets clogged and needs a reboot (unplugging) and not on-off, which puts the TV in standby.
Very easy to operate with a minimal and practical remote control, and it generally does everything and is worth it. It has countless settings that even the most demanding will need, but I didn’t look into it much.
I consider Sony to be the best manufacturer, but also by far the most expensive. However, if I were to spend more money, the only change I would make would be to go from direct LED to mini LED, still TCL or Hisense.
Ten days ago, I bought the 55C655. For its price of 400 euros, it is really a good purchase. As someone else wrote, it doesn't lag at all, it has nice bass sound with its ONKYO rear speaker, as shown in the photos. Also, for anyone who knows English well, it has the TCL bouquet of live channels for free, as well as the corresponding TCL On Demand with movies, series, documentaries, something like ERTFlix, and that is also free. (Of course, all in English).
TCL has 4 series of televisions: Hi End (Premium), Middle Range, Budget, Cheap. This particular television belongs to the Budget series.
It is lightweight at 11 kilograms.
On the downside, I would mention the remote control, which does the very basics, as well as the overall settings menu, which is relatively poor compared to other televisions.
I will return after some time of use.

Stay away from this television and generally from the c655 series. Television 20 days old, it started to break down, the letters shake, it lags incredibly, the image is elsewhere and the sound is elsewhere. I regret the moment I bought it.
Quite a good picture, very good sound, unfortunately, it does freeze occasionally from the first days of use. For the money, it's worth it!
I got the 65 for 499.99 + extended warranty for 3 years about 70-80€, total 570-580€! For the money, it is ALWAYS AMAZING! It has screen mirroring and you don't need to connect a laptop and USB... From the phone directly to the TV with a simple app from the app store! Whether it's a movie or music... everything.
I bought the 55" model from a well-known electronics chain outside of Skroutz for 419 with a discount from 549. I got it as a budget option with a large diagonal and QLED panel, because other brands wanted 1000. So far, everything is good with 4K content, user-friendly smart features from Google TV. It was mounted on the wall with a VESA 300x300 bracket. It will show over time, and I will get back to it.
I bought the 43" model for 380 euros. I should clarify that I am a very demanding user, owner of 2 OLED TVs calibrated by a professional. However, in this particular case, I needed a budget TV for the vacation home, lightweight so I can easily take it out to the yard in the evenings. This one weighs only 7 kilograms.
I start with the negative feature that I think all potential buyers should know about, the small viewing angles due to the VA panel. A slight deviation to the side or even up and down significantly distorts the image, so if there are more than 2 people sitting next to each other, this is something to consider.
The advantage of the VA panel is the blacks and the contrast, which are at decent levels here. If you watch in the dark, you will notice some macro-blocking in dark scenes, but the image is much better than some LGs with IPS panels that I have seen. If you watch in light, the brightness is satisfactory although generally, for HDR and Dolby Vision material, I would have liked more nits. Overall, though, and despite the lack of local dimming, the image is better than I expected!
I should clarify that the above applies if you choose the most accurate profile that the TV has, which is by far the Movie profile. In the other profiles, the whites were excessively cool and the colors oversaturated, not worth bothering with. An exception might be the gaming profile, which is worth trying if you connect a console; I have no opinion on that.
Regarding motion, although it is a 50/60 Hz panel, it is decent, without annoying judder or blur. I suggest keeping the options in the motion menu off because interpolation is activated and the image starts to look somewhat fake. Tuning TV channels is hassle-free, and Google TV runs without delays, but it is known that this software benefits if you restart it frequently, basically unplugging it whenever you can!
Finally, the sound is typical for 43", loud with present but barely there bass, nothing special. Perhaps larger models have better speakers; I don't know.
Overall, a decent budget TV!
Satisfied with the purchase, its picture quality is very good and it has nothing to envy from other brands, the menu has many settings. It is perfect for connecting a console, the TV is very fast and does not lag at all. The negatives for me are the menu, which is a bit difficult, and the initial setup that needs to be done. It has no competition at this price.
I want to point out a problem it has with the cosmote tv app.. When we go to watch cosmote tv, you will notice that the picture is like fast forward while the sound is fine.. this has to do with the app because 'tunneling' is enabled. How is it fixed? After a bit of searching, a guy had the solution and I present it:
''In the channels field, at the top there are 2 buttons where one says "Program" "Replay TV".
Press and hold the "OK" button on your remote alternately on each option for 4-5 times.
That is, you hold down OK on the "Program" option, release it, and do the same on the "Replay TV" option. You repeat this 4-5 times until the Advanced settings open.
Then you turn off the "Enable tunneling" option
Nice television…. It doesn't lag at all and has incredible picture quality… Since technology is not stagnant, it's worth getting something good and cheap.. This television is exactly that, good and cheap without any problems
Purchased from a store outside of skroutz, so the review is purely about the product. Overall, as a QLED model, the picture is quite good for simple everyday use like movies, etc. The major downside I personally face as a problem, but I don't know if it's the model's fault, is that while all channels play normally, when using it simultaneously with a computer via HDMI, it confuses the signal and loses the antenna, resulting in not picking up the channels. As soon as I remove the HDMI, everything works normally again, but when I plug it back in, it loses the channels again... Now I believe there are two possible causes: either the antenna port is too close to the HDMI ports and it's not well positioned on the board, or the cables I bought are thin and cause interference between the signals... Regardless, since I personally don't watch TV, it's not something that concerns me enough to look into it further by buying more expensive cables (it does the job for me). However, for someone who watches TV and wants to use a computer simultaneously, it's a quite annoying downside. Overall, the connection is easy, the menu is user-friendly, good quality plastic without having much experience with other models, and quite good picture quality for this price.

Its picture quality is the best you can find right now in its price category. Better than Samsung Q60D. Its sound is also very good.
For calibration, check out rtings TCL Q651G.
However, it has a very significant drawback compared to Samsung, LG, or Sony TVs: its software has many bugs and a software update can create even more. TCL does not have this aspect figured out, while they make TVs with very good picture quality. For example, I did a software update recently and the sound suddenly started to stutter. Previously, a software update messed up the brightness on Dolby Vision content. Cosmote TV shows bugs in the live program (due to the poor software).
If you want to have peace of mind and are okay with slightly worse picture quality, go for Samsung Q60D in the same price category.
In general, I personally would not buy a TCL TV again, as I have already been disappointed with the software of two previous models (C725 and C655). Not that the UI is not good, or that it is slow or difficult to use. My main issue is the bugs that can take months to resolve. TCL's quality control in software matters is unacceptable, as well as having to wait months to resolve a problem.
In summary, in the same price category, I recommend either Samsung Q60D, which will give you peace of mind regarding the software, or a Hisense A7NQ. Even Hisense performs much better in software matters.
Obviously, if you have much more money to spend, you should buy Samsung QN90D or LG C4.
