I bought this projector in white for 150 euros as a gift for friends, after doing some research and watching several review videos on YouTube, mainly from foreign YouTubers. Trying it out, I was truly amazed at how great it is for the money... It gives an 86-inch diagonal image at 2.9 meters distance and about 100 inches diagonal at 3.3 meters distance. After the software update, which I recommend to be the first thing you do if you buy it, I realized that the projector is the best value for money available in a Wanbo projector... Its brightness is very good, even if it doesn't operate in complete darkness, the image looks very clear and its colors are very nice in its classic setting! The built-in speakers are really quite satisfactory, and in case they are not enough for you or you want something more, you can always connect external speakers via Bluetooth or aux cable, and as far as I know, after the software update, the HDMI port has ARC functionality for even better results (although I haven't personally tried the ARC function). It responds to all commands instantly and has never frozen on any program, such as Netflix, YouTube, Google Play Store, VLC media player, Screen Mirroring with my mobile phone, and various others... I have played Full HD and 4K movies, and it has played them with VLC without any problems from the hard drive via USB. I have connected it to my computer and played some games which I can say I played without any issues and without experiencing latency problems (Fallout 4, Wreckfest, Grand Theft Auto 5, and a few others, although I don't play competitive games; for casual gaming, it's perfect...). I also downloaded a free application with Greek television and radio, and it works very well with instant channel changes, etc... The noise from its fan is not very loud even if you don't have music playing at the same time, especially if you are more than a meter away from the projector; I was sitting about half a meter away, and truly, as long as the sound from the movie or video game was playing, the noise never bothered me! It also doesn't produce enough heat to bother me at all; even if you put your hand at the fan's output, you don't feel uncomfortable... After less than a week of buying the white projector, I happened to be on Skroutz and saw that the blue projector with the exact same specifications was on sale for 82 euros... I was so incredibly impressed with the capabilities of the projector that not only did I buy one for myself, but I also got another one to give to other friends, as this was an amazing opportunity for so little money... If you look at the price evolution of the projector, you will notice that it is always between 160-170 euros except for one day on September 2nd when it was at 82 euros... This price really doesn't exist... if you look at what you can normally get for 82 euros, there is no comparison... At 150 euros, it was a fantastic value for money, but at 82, you must be crazy not to buy it, even if you don't need it... and to make a comparison, I have owned a Mi Smart Projector 2 Pro for about 3 years, which still costs 800 euros on Skroutz today... Of course, the 2 Pro has a larger image at the same distance, better speakers, greater brightness, and various other features that make it superior, but its price, without considering the offer I happened to find, is 5+ times higher and with the offer, it's 10 times higher... I bought the Wanbo X2 max to have it permanently at my vacation home instead of constantly moving the mi smart projector back and forth, and I don't think that for this specific case I could get anything more value for money... For me, if you want a projector at 150 euros, get the white one with the same features because it's worth it fully... if you find it like I did at 82 or somewhere around there, get one for a friend as a gift... I am absolutely satisfied and my friends are even more satisfied! The only significant negative for me is that if it doesn't hit straight on the wall and you have it hitting from an angle (at least for me), you can't have a clear image across the entire screen, no matter how much you play with the Keystone correction and the Focus, which have automatic functions but you can also adjust manually... That's where the Mi Smart projector 2 Pro definitely has the upper hand clearly since I have it hitting the wall from an angle due to the layout of the house and I have no issue with the image as it corrects it automatically and the result is flawless... But this, as we said, comes with a price that is 5 to 10 times higher... One last thing before I finish, I have placed this projector on a tripod and depending on your space layout, you might need one too, the tripod I bought is the Yaber YH-130 and it's very good as it can be adjusted from quite short to quite tall, so it fully meets my needs! My review might have tired you as it was quite long but I believe it covered the capabilities of the projector and any few weaknesses it has to a large extent! For me, it's worth buying if you're looking for something cheap that produces amazing results for its cost!
