While they are very beautiful, there is definitely a manufacturing defect. The straps were huge, the child was floating inside the shoe while the length was otherwise correct (so they didn't want a smaller size). I took them to a cobbler to fix them and he was left speechless by the condition. Fortunately, the result was okay.
