The sound is a bit dull out of the box. I come from the honest wired headphones of DENON AH D1000 and the difference in quality hit me a bit hard. Their bass is extreme even for me, as I listen to Techno and Trance. The ULT button gives you 3 modes to choose from. VERY bass - VERY VERY bass - RIDICULOUS bass. They definitely need EQ adjustment. Other than that, they are comfortable although a bit large on the head. The ANC is OK.

Overall very good sound and bass and sound insulation for daily use. The only thing that bothers me is that they don't have sweat resistance and therefore you can't use them at the gym. I've had them for just two months so I can't judge the build quality yet.

The best under €200 by far in all areas from noise cancellation, ambient sound, equalizer to adjust the sound for all tastes, incredible bass even for the most demanding, smart features, very nice build quality and fit on the head and ears. If you're in doubt, just check out YouTube and watch reviews otherwise, with closed eyes, for me!

In addition, they have full support from Sony's own application, where you can further differentiate the sound by way of an equalizer, which is sufficient enough. Also, they support LDAC, which is a gamechanger assuming your sound source benefits you with high-resolution audio, such as Tidal. I have nothing negative to say for this product, and despite being initially hesitant upon purchasing it because of the seemingly "low" price, not expecting anything impressive, it exceeded every expectation possible. This is a big win for Sony as well as anyone who purchases this product.

After 1 week of use: Amazing bass and sound quality, build quality has no drawbacks (the entire casing is quality plastic, inside it has a metal frame), its features, such as the touch sensor, automatic pause, automatic switching between ANC and ambient, were impressive to me. I suppose it's worth the money, after all, it's a Sony product...

Did you find this review helpful?I really got them hesitantly but Sony did something incredible with these headphones. Although I had the xm4 before, I have not seen almost any difference in the ANC. Their bass is unbelievably strong, in some songs it tickles your nose ?, and it's not like the skullcandy ones that have vibration for the bass, in Sony the speakers are 40mm with excellent membranes as if they were subwoofers. Their weight is excessively low for such headphones, of course they have slightly cut the quality in the plastics to achieve this. However, all this was done to price these headphones at 200€..... Now they are at 160 in major stores, which for me is a very good price for what you get. One of the advantages I like about these Sony headphones is that you can use them with a simple 3.5mm jack even if the battery is dead (e.g. on a plane with a TV). Of course, if they have a battery that lasts a long time (don't be afraid, they easily last 30 hours) you can use the input from the jack with ANC activated, on a 13-hour flight I felt like I was in my room at night with complete silence listening to music. Great isolation as the earpads are very soft. The touch functions on the right cup are very easy and functional. The most value for money headphones if you like bass and ANC..... By far.....
