I have it for 2 months, I use it daily (salt - pepper) and I am completely satisfied. Its operation is done with one button, it has a ceramic grinding system (adjustable for fine or coarse grinding), it has a built-in light on the base for illumination during operation, it has an aluminum body and it is the most elegant spice mill I found.
Very beautiful, but very small capacity, forcing you to open it at least 1 to 2 times a week. It lasted us about six months and then it stopped closing. The internal design seems to be very cheap.
I bought a set of manual grinders and I am absolutely satisfied with my choice. When I have guests, they are all impressed by these grinders, just like I am. They are very convenient and offer the ability to adjust the grinding. I use them for salt and pepper. The freshly ground pepper has a unique aroma, much better than the ready-ground store-bought kind. I now buy coarse salt, as I am sure it does not contain anti-caking chemicals. I have been using my set for over a year and I have already gifted several sets to relatives and friends. Some received them as gifts, while others asked me to order them. Note that each grinder requires 4 AA batteries, but I use rechargeable ones. In conclusion, I highly recommend the product. The only thing you need to do is to warn your guests :) that they should not turn the grinder, but just press the button.
Sometimes a larger piece of pepper gets stuck and it doesn't grind. You have to remove it to continue.
Good as long as they lasted. But with relatively mild use, the first one broke in one month, and the second one in one and a half years.
It's an excellent choice, I have them for many years (at least 6-7) and they still work great. Sometimes it needed a little rubbing on the contacts it has because it wasn't working, but with salt and daily use it's logical. If you pay attention to this point, you won't have any problem.
Good build quality, does its job, but... it requires 4 AA batteries to work, which makes it impractical as they quickly drain due to the unnecessary light at the bottom that I find completely useless.
For as long as it worked, it was okay. In less than a year, it broke and the bottom part came off from where the screws are.
Convenient and quite easy. Make sure it is securely locked to rotate properly. You will use the spices more often.
What others mentioned below, that it breaks and is not of good quality, is true. It is simply very beautiful. It also has a high center of gravity and falls for fun, breaks for fun, and everything goes wrong. It is not good, do not buy it.
They are of good quality in appearance and work quite well.
Made in China, internally they are the ugliest mechanically constructed thing I have ever seen. They are made specifically not to withstand.
The plastics and gears that transfer the motion to the grinder from the motor are ridiculous!
They have 12 small gears (for no reason) to create problems.
I will not buy again and I don't know if others are like this.
Beautiful design and ease of use.. it's a shame that after several refills, both of them became useless as the plastic cap that covers the mechanism detached from the device! They are too sensitive..
I didn't like them very much. They are decent mills, but that's about it. They cut pieces too thick (for some reason, even though they have an adjustment, I don't notice any difference in the cutting), the basic ones are better. I wouldn't buy them again.
After two months of use, the grinder with the salt came off. A small plastic part broke and all the bottom plastic came off. Overall, it looks nice on the outside but inside it's very plasticky.
Bad, terrible mills. They drain the batteries in the blink of an eye. They don't grind spices at all finely. Manual mills are much better. The only positive thing is that they have a nice design, but their use is worthless.
It takes 4 AA batteries and the light is more decorative unless it's night. Overall, it is a beautiful device and worth its money.
Incredible ease, the electric mills. Always fresh salt and pepper, huge difference. It also has a light so you can see what you're pouring. I haven't washed it yet so I don't know, but compared to the manual one, it's day and night. I bought it for my mom who has pain in her hands and she's also thrilled.
Quite lightweight for its size and easy to use.
Due to its height, it may be a bit difficult to store on a shelf/cabinet.
We still have to see its durability over time.
Apart from being convenient for cooking, they are also beautiful for kitchen decoration. One just needs to get used to the measurements. It will also show how long the batteries last (4 AA batteries are required for each).
Quite a quality product for 20 euros, I didn't expect it. I have had it for 3 years and both of them work flawlessly. VFM
I have had the mills for about four months. They work great without any problems. Quality construction and they do what they say... grind pepper (and salt). What else can I say?
After just two months of use, one mill gave up the ghost.
The head (the part with the batteries) does not provide power to the mill, as the problem persists when I transfer the head to another mill.
It's a shame because it seemed to be of good quality....
I sent a message to the company and now I am waiting to see.
I took it to their service and they replaced it directly with a new one. I was won over by their handling.
PROS:
- Very beautiful and elegant design
- Very good quality construction
- LED light when grinding
- Batteries last a long time (I have used cheap Chinese ones)
- Very easy to use, with easy opening for quick refilling
CONS:
- The container for pepper/salt is not very big
- Requires 4x AA batteries
- Sometimes gets stuck with salt and needs to be opened (difficult because it's stuck) and shaken a bit to loosen it
CONCLUSION:
I am completely satisfied with these mills for the price of €27 that I bought them for, I highly recommend them.
EDIT:
After one year of use, they have rusted inside due to moisture and do not work at all. Now they require full opening to clean the rust.
So far good - I have them for 3 months. What worries me is that the grinder doesn't get moisture from the steam... we'll see...
After months of daily use, I still believe that they are the best, most beautiful, and efficient on the market!
Also, the battery life is incredible (compared to other mills I have used in the past).
P.S.: A slightly larger capacity wouldn't bother me at all.
Santa Claus brought them to me! After 1.5 months of daily use, I have to say:
Beautiful, sturdy, the 4 batteries hold up like new, they cut perfectly without difficulty. I have them on the finest setting. Salt doesn't stick. Be gentle with the buttons and plastic fastenings when filling them, and remember to never put salt on the pot with Crazy steam. I think I'm putting a little more salt in my food by playing!

After a year, it works great, the batteries ran out in 11 months (suddenly stopped). Very good choice
Very beautiful and user-friendly mills.
There is only one concern that worries me, that the cutting surface seems to be plastic and I don't know if it will hold up over time. In more expensive manual mills, I have noticed that they use metal or ceramic for this part.
Very satisfied, after various trials, these are the best I have!! Powerful, nice design!!
Very good quality, and the ability to choose how coarse or fine it grinds is even better. Just two things to know.
1st Each mill requires 4 batteries.
2nd I put salt in one mill and due to humidity, it gets stuck and hardly grinds at all.
I did not expect them to have speed in grinding, because I had tried other mills that disappointed me, but these pleasantly surprised me... They are also very beautiful, so they turned out to be a very good purchase...
Very good purchase. Quality construction stainless steel-plastic, beautiful design. The motor seems powerful, a reliable proposition, we will see durability over time.
