Good choice, just the picture needs adjustment because as it comes from the factory the colors are very neutral. Also, the viewing angle from the side is not the best. It looks overly bright. No comparison to an IPS panel.
I bought it for the bedroom. Compared to the s95b OLED 65" that I have in the living room, there is obviously a big difference in the picture. For the money, it is very satisfactory
Purchase 3/2024 Model 50" created a problem with the hdmi 1 port, that is, it does not work. I have informed Samsung and I am waiting for the technician to test the remote management, that is, what is happening to see if it can fix the issue. Today 1/2025 it is under warranty, I am waiting for the update and will inform.
For the money and at 55", it's very good. Daily use and for the movies I watch, it's super.
Update 31/1/2024 (2 months of use): I am removing 1 star as it would not connect to a mobile hotspot at all! We still do not have an internet line, so it was essential. I had tried everything until, after spending 2 hours on tests, I reset it to factory settings. After that, it connected successfully, but I had a 20-minute job to set up apps, settings, and channels again. The negatives are starting to pile up, and unfortunately, it's very early.
Update 5/1/2024 (1 month of use): Airplay on iPhone 13 and Macbook M1 is incredibly laggy. The mouse pointer has at least a 1-second delay. To the point that it renders it useless, as if it didn't exist. You play a video from the phone and see it frame by frame. Many apps like Spotify are lagging and slow to open now, to the point that you want to force close them (long press on the 'Back' button) and restarting them takes 5-6 seconds to open again. I'm not saying that TizenOS is necessarily to blame, I'm just mentioning it.
Amazing picture, good viewing angles if you're watching a movie, which is ideal if you're watching with 4+ people, and decent sound for the price. A good choice for anyone who wants to enjoy movies without spending €1000 on an OLED. The value for money choice at less than €600 and at 55", I would say.
We haven't set up channels yet as there is no antenna installed in the house. It will be tested with an external antenna in the distant future.
It comes with a ton of pre-installed apps that I spent 10 minutes deleting. Beyond that, a big positive is that it supports Streamio for those who know, know. Finally, it is fast, it hasn't frozen at all in the week we've had it now. The controller is quality and small, just as needed.
The only negative I have managed to find so far is that it does not have an AUX port to connect wired speakers.
I will return for any newer developments.
It doesn't perform well in 4K. Fast motion causes stuttering. I would consider more expensive models just for this reason.
Quite good image (colors, contrast, sharpness, etc.). However, it definitely needs white balance adjustment; it comes from the factory with too much magenta and pink hues, so red needs to be reduced in the settings and a bit of green added, depending on the case, because the panels are not exactly the same, but differ from TV to TV, so playing and watching... This hue cannot be eliminated, but it will improve quite a bit. When watching movies and videos, you don't notice it, but if you use it as a computer monitor or view photos, the difference is noticeable. Coming from LG, I find that Samsung is more "stunning" while LG is more "normal." The TV has a VA panel which requires a more centered viewing position on the horizontal and vertical axis compared to the IPS panels that LG has. It shows 3 cm shadowing around the edges which is quite visible in whites and grays. Another point is that the TV struggles with fast camera movements, showing them as frames and ruining the feeling of continuous motion. Finally, the TV has an issue with the PC, meaning that when it is connected via HDMI and turned off, and you boot the computer, it freezes the PC which does not start to load into Windows, as if the graphics card is not reading the screen. The computer is new and quite good, and after a lot of searching and adjustments (with other monitors it started normally), I ended up buying a power strip with a switch. Every time I want to start the computer, I turn off the switch for the power supply to the TV, then press the power on the PC, and after 20 seconds to make sure it has left the BIOS and is loading Windows, I then turn on the switch to power the TV and activate it from the remote, and everything is fine!!! Illogical, but it has unfortunately become a silly habit for me. Another downside is that with fast camera movement, you don't see a movie, but frames of photos, and this is very tiring for the eyes. The remote control is good, colors-brightness are fine, quick response of the processor in the menu, I have no opinion on sound as it is connected via optical fiber to a DAC and then to active speakers.
The product, the television that is, is very advanced with the various systems it has.....Nice colors and sound like a bell...Fortunately, my son has set it up since he knew the tricks due to the fact that he also has a Samsung 55-inch, but a different model.......I can't judge its durability yet. Years need to pass. As for the company that delivered it to me, flawless.....They have a nice system to notify you in advance on your phone about what day and time they will bring it to you

The Samsung Qled 50" TV was purchased on 23/10. On 24/10, I received it, and after I took it out of the packaging and started it, I saw that it had a wide black line from top to bottom. I contacted Samsung, and they sent a technician who confirmed the problem, and since then, until yesterday 30/10, I have had a dispute with the company, which in the end graciously "as an exception" agreed to repair it for me and not replace it because I had thrown away the box. It is shameful for a "big" company to behave this way. I cannot judge the TV because my problem will be resolved after 5/11...!
Very good QLED, good picture, viewing angle, user-friendly menu, and functional Tizen OS... supports voice commands and has all the well-known apps for EON, COSMOTE, Netflix, Disney, etc. Elegant remote control charges with USB and solar... Sound without problems, relatively good price for a QLED model 2024... As for the lifespan?? .. Time will tell... :-)
