The Metric is the new standard in skate performance from DC. Designed with input from the professional team and featuring advanced technology, it represents the next step in our long history of designing skate shoes focused on performance. The Metric's sole uses some of the most advanced skate technologies we've ever created. The new IMPACT-FOAM midsole combined with an EVA strobel board and IMPACT-ALG insoles offer unparalleled shock protection and comfort without compromising board feel.

We also used the new 20% recycled RE/GRIP RUBBER for a lighter sole that is just as durable as regular rubber. To reinforce the suede upper, we added high-abrasion mesh panels that withstand grip tape while allowing airflow to the feet. To last even longer, the Metric is constructed with SUPER STITCH threads and hot melt TPU overlays. Every detail of this shoe is designed for and by skateboarders.
