In no case do you categorize them as value for money. I bought them about 10 days after I had purchased an imitation for 7.99 euros from a well-known supermarket chain for indoor and outdoor use. I liked the ones from the supermarket so much that I thought of buying the authentic product for outdoor use since I had heard very good things about it, but in the end, I was disappointed. If I were to try both pairs without knowing which one is branded and which one is not, and I was asked to estimate which one costs 65 euros and which one costs 8 euros, I would definitely say that the ones from the supermarket are more expensive as they look very similar in appearance and construction quality and are clearly better in terms of comfort. I would like to clarify that in terms of construction quality, they seem to be equal, but I can't say anything more as I have both pairs for a relatively short period of time, so I would prefer to wait and see how they hold up over time. Final conclusion: Maybe it's my foot that is different, although I have never noticed any particularity, but just the fact that I went through the process of comparing these two products and, in my opinion, reasonable doubts arose about whether they are really worth the 65 euros that I spent on this product, I conclude that they should reconsider the price in relation to the competition over at Birkenstock.
