What can I say about this book! If you are looking for a small guide that you can take with you outside to identify either herbs or edible greens that you don't know or don't remember well, this masterpiece does the job as well as it could be done! I was blown away by the photos as well as the organization and simplicity! On each page, the left page has all the information and the right page has 1 to 3 (most have 3) photos of amazing quality and clarity! One shows the whole herb as you would see it in front of you, the other is a zoom on the flower, and the third is either the leaves, the flower, or the bulb, etc. It sounds complicated but it is an incredibly simple and practical guide. Of course, it has an index for each plant as well as general information at the beginning, so someone can learn or remember about the parts of the herbs, etc. Also, at the end, there is a glossary that helps incredibly. The information starts from all the names of the herb, which you will find, to medicinal uses or where and how it benefits! It also has detailed descriptions of fruit, leaves, etc. (I even saw how it smells in some!) The quality of the paper is excellent, the cover and back cover have bookmarks (the first has a perfect ruler (10 cm) with very clear lines even in millimeters.
