These tablets are for old dishwashers that did not save energy and washed at high temperatures. In my old Bosch dishwasher, which operates at 60-65 degrees on setting 3, the tablet works well. However, in the new Bosch dishwasher, which has an economical setting at 50 degrees and an automatic setting at 45-65 degrees, it does not do the job. When this tablet came out, there were other dishwashers that reached high temperatures and did the job. With the new dishwashers, because they save electricity and water, you need the most modern and expensive tablets, plain and simple. If you want, try them on the highest temperature program to see that they work, just make sure to use salt and rinse aid. Finally, detergents no longer use certain ingredients for environmental reasons, which were good for cleanliness but bad for the environment.
