Once upon a time in a distant land, everything was lush and green. Unicorns roamed among the trees, and elves and humans lived peacefully in harmony with their environment. At the edge of a clearing, hidden among the trees, a figure is revealed bending over a large, dangerously bright crystal ball. A murmuring voice chants ancient formulas, driven by the swirling bright vapors inside the crystal ball to open and reveal the future.

“Everything is in flux, nothing seems certain. Come, oh randomness of space and time, separate us from the veil and show us what the future holds for me,” murmurs the voice as an eye reflects the light in front of its cover. The audience of shadows, almost invisible in the dim light, approaches and listens carefully.

“Time flows and forms pools and wrinkles… but when the vapors separate, only vague images emerge from beyond the veil. Shhh—don't come too close, you don't want to disturb my delicate magical networks, do you?”

The silhouette, still bent over the sphere, murmurs and asks the others to rest a little more in the shadow. “Ah, now it seems to be clearing a bit. I can see… something… quite a few things, promises of voices echoing in the mist. A baby, something happening at Hill Doom, and the gathering of the Council of Snot – what could all this mean?”

In a fraction of a second, the light reflected in the eye turns red and a distant evil laughs through the woods. Stay tuned for the return of the Prophecy of Evil!

The Ultimate Evil and her trusty servant, the Dark Elf Thalia, return in Dungeons 4 after the events of its legendary predecessor to bring their victory over the forces of good.

Create a cozy and smooth Dungeon to meet the needs of your creatures and rule over them, then send them to the Overworld to remind the good people living there that the Ultimate Evil rules their lands. Gather your Evil in new and dynamic ways and unleash it on the lush forested areas and plains of the Overworld to turn them to the dark side.

Don't forget that your Dungeon must be well protected with traps and defended by your creatures, because those pesky Overworlders won't stand idly by while you turn their land into the most delightful vacation paradise of Ultimate Evil.

But what is that sound? “Gold, gold, gold and precious gems, gold and precious gems and gold!” The ancient song echoes throughout the underground, combined with the sounds of hammers and axes. The Dwarves have come to claim their share of the rich resources and along with the Elves and Humans of the Overworld, they send their raids to find the heart of the Dungeon.

Dungeons 4 keeps the spirit of its predecessor, but now everything is bigger, better, and with even more dynamic Evil.
