I have no regrets whatsoever. A beautiful diving watch whose appearance can easily be mistaken for a much more expensive one. It has great accuracy and perfect alignment between the bezel and the hands, as well as the hands with the markers (the small lines that indicate the seconds). Do it a favor and get a nice strap for it because it deserves it.
For anyone who wants a Rolex Pepsi style and Batman style alternative, this is the right choice, very good build quality, if you add a Jubilee type bracelet it elevates the watch to another level.
Very good watch and worth every penny. I got it for 68€, now it's at 83€. It's so good, sturdy, and impressive that I would buy it even at 83€. Casio quality!
With a 10€ coupon, it cost me 60€ which I consider to be an excellent purchase for the quality of the watch. Quiet hands compared to swatch, quality dial, heavy construction, you feel it on your wrist but not in an annoying way. 4 stars for the strap and the date that is difficult to distinguish but I like it... it has a premium touch overall. I have noticed glances looking at my wrist.
Simply perfect. Impeccable finish, can easily be compared to watches three times its cost. Screw-down crown and case, real water resistance. If you like this watch, just buy it now. Just be careful with the size, it is 44mm and may not look nice on smaller wrists depending on the owner's taste.
Incredible watch, for quartz. I have been dealing with watches for about a year, I had bought some, but I started a little backwards. I bought some more expensive ones, but I was sorry to wear them and gradually started looking for cheaper watches. I had decided to buy a daily watch (beater watch as we say), I initially bought an Orient Ray2 automatic. But even the Orient finally seems very beautiful and much better value for money. Plus, it's automatic, so I decided not to bother wearing it every day and find something even cheaper. Although I didn't even want to look at quartz, I saw many reviews and articles about the CASIO Duro and I thought maybe it's not bad. But I didn't expect it to be so nice. And with its strap but even more with some quality leather strap the watch has weight, finish, dial and generally all the elements that other watches 4× and 5× its price don't have. The only quartz watch I've seen that I think is worth it.
*Update*
Although the watch is as I described it, in the end you can't love quartz. I finally bought a sport automatic Lorus for everyday wear, automatic watches are living jewels, another thing. Let me also mention 2 small technical negatives if someone scrutinizes it too much:
1) The hands do not glow very intensely or for very long
2) The date window is very small and the days are not clearly visible. I looked into these 2 issues and indeed many complain about them. But if someone likes quartz, this is the only quartz watch I would wear. No quartz watch is worth even a euro more than this.
My new Casio is really good, an excellent choice. It looks much more expensive, the strap is dark blue and it makes the watch unique. Note that the strap is more expensive than the watch itself, but it's worth it. As for the silicone strap that came with the Casio, it found its place in the Jaques Lemans watch that I have
The ultimate value for money watch.
Sturdy, durable, beautiful, can be worn at all times.
I wanted a simple, cheap watch for "tough" activities (water sports, hiking, etc.), when I received it I realized that it is an incredible piece, now I wear it all the time and in all occasions.
It really surprised me, it's not a coincidence that it was seen on Bill Gates' wrist...
A legendary watch, I bought it for the sea, but I wear it constantly, it is more beautiful than the photos, I think they don't do it justice... Amazing dial, I got the Pepsi one, accuracy in time, water and humidity its natural environment, and you can still find it at a relatively good price. Get it with your eyes closed
There was no way I would spend 75 euros on a watch. That money for a watch is wasted money. But here we have Casio. The watch is amazing and has quality way above the 75 euros. The only disadvantage I have found is that its lume only lasts for 10 minutes. That's it. 75 euros. Casio.
What can one say about this watch! Beautiful and sturdy construction. It can be worn everywhere from the sea to formal occasions, especially if you change the strap with a bracelet. The only negative is that it might feel heavy on the wrist for some
I have had it for several months now and it has served me particularly well in everyday use. It is durable and has not been affected by the small impacts it has received
I bought it when it first came out from a local store for 120€, then online it was priced at 98€ in early 2021. It is better than the old Duro models, with the good parts at the back stating "made in Japan" or now "cased in China" (Japan is simply assembly and packaging in China), not like the old Duro models that are made in China, Thailand, etc. Well, it has a Miyota Japan movement for precision... All stainless steel (not like the old Duro models that are chromed...), Hard mineral glass. 20bar water resistant with all the latest ISOs... This is very important because as it is a new model, it has a future ahead... It can withstand everything, but it would be good to take care of it because in the future it will be more collectible than the old Duro models... It is worth the money and more, I added an expensive Milanese bracelet to elevate it and I will definitely buy it again in all colors.
The construction quality truly has nothing to envy from watches that cost 3-4 or even 5 times more, even if it's not mechanical. The accuracy in the bezel, the screw-down crown, the 20 bar water resistance which is definitely more than enough, the incredibly precise mechanism. The best value for the money. The only drawback in my opinion is the strap, especially if you want to wear it for more formal occasions, but it's something that can be easily fixed as you can see in the photos. I highly recommend it unless you have a small wrist. It is quite large.
I was reading the comments and reviews, I couldn't believe how much value for money this watch is.. The money you spend for the product you get is really nothing. It could easily cost 300 euros and still be value for money
This is literally a watch for all hours and all occasions. It goes with everything. Essentially, it is the Casio Duro (MDV-106) without the fish on the dial. From what I have read on foreign forums, it is exactly the same watch, but for some reason, possibly due to copyright issues, it cannot be sold outside of America, so they recently released the MDV-107. Its size is medium to large, and if you have a very thin wrist, I would recommend if possible to see it up close before ordering it. It doesn't need recommendations for quality and accuracy.. it's "Casio". This particular model has the absolute respect of all watch fans, and most either already have it or will acquire it soon. In fact, one of the reasons it became quite well-known to the general public was when it was seen on the wrist of our famous Bill Gates!
I must have bought this specific one at least 7-8 times, but friends were always asking me for it and I had to "sell" it to them for double the price I bought it from Canada, around 35-40€... I have also uploaded a related video on YouTube (greekwatchreviews) about this mdv-106, keep in mind that what is being sold here is the 107, obviously a newer version that does not have the red "fish" on the dial but I believe that the rest of the features remain the same... regardless, the watch is worth its money, you can wear it everywhere, it is 44mm in diameter and maybe on small wrists (under 17cm) it might look a bit big... You can play with different straps (rubber, nylon, leather, pearl, etc.) in various colors and completely change the feel... from me, it's a big YES.
I am extremely satisfied with this watch. GOD TIER Casio!!! It actually looks much more expensive than it is. At €80 for a diver watch, there is no competition. The second hand aligns perfectly with the lines on the dial. The bezel as well. I will definitely wear it with a metal bracelet.
I ended up adding a bracelet too! The watch went to another level
I wanted a watch specifically for the summer, a diver type with a rubber bracelet so that it doesn't get affected by sweat, water, etc. I also wanted it to be relatively affordable and attractive for everyday use. I found this particular watch for around 80€ and ordered it without seeing it in person. In the end, I received one of the most beautiful watches I have ever had, and I have quite a few due to my interest in the subject. It is much more beautiful up close, it has the ideal size (diameter and thickness), neither too small nor excessively large, and it has incredible construction quality for its price. Needless to say, it doesn't get affected by water at all, I have tested it while swimming in the sea, and it fits perfectly and looks stunning in every aspect. Screw-down crown, dial with nice depth, stainless steel, case with impeccable polish and finish, clear letters and date. The two-tone on the bezel is absolutely lovely. The alignment of the seconds hand with the corresponding lines on the dial is not present in my other watches with significantly higher prices, from watch manufacturing companies exclusively, from Switzerland, etc. The bezel also aligns perfectly at 12 (which other watches with 4-5 digit prices fail to do), it has 120 unidirectional rotations as it should, and the illumination of the bezel and dial in the dark is just right. The strap seems to be made of good quality rubber, but only time will tell its durability. For now, it appears sturdy, with the right thickness and elasticity. The only "flaw" is the absence of a sapphire crystal on the dial, but it doesn't bother me at all, firstly because I paid 80€ for it, and secondly because it has become my favorite watch and I take care of it excessively. I don't expect anything less than perfection in terms of reliability and durability over time, we're talking about Casio. Simple and well-tested Japanese movement 2784, 3-year battery life, absolute reliability, 20 bar resistance, what else can you ask for at such a price? Unfortunately, I have started to consider getting the other two colors as well (plain black and blue-red "pepsi"), which is also a downside. To anyone who discovers the existence of this watch, I advise them to get it immediately, with their eyes closed. From the first days of wearing it, I have already received positive comments. When people ask me "how much?" and I answer "give me an estimate," they give crazy prices because it truly looks like a watch of that category, it's not their fault. It combines perfectly with any outfit, and of course, with swimwear. With such a price, beauty, quality, and reliability, it never leaves my wrist, it has overshadowed watches-symbols and those of much higher value. I wouldn't bother writing such an analysis for an 80€ watch, but I am genuinely excited and it absolutely deserves it.
