Description

The Commander 2 by Airoh is an on-off helmet, meaning a combination of a full-face and motocross helmet. It has a smaller chin guard and visor than a motocross helmet, but it is heavier. It is made from composite fibre, which makes it flexible and resistant to shock absorption. It secures with a double D-ring buckle, also known as a ring buckle. This is the safest and most reliable buckle, but it requires both hands to fasten. The helmet has the new European safety specification certification "ECE 22.06," which ensures that the helmet is tested at 18 impact control points instead of the previous 6. The package includes an anti-fog film, an additional accessory for the helmet's visor that prevents it from fogging up. It is placed on the inside of the helmet and is useful during the winter months. Additionally, it features a sun visor, an internal sunshade, like a glass, for protection from the sun.

    As a former owner of the commander, I got the commander 2 and it is much better as a helmet. The differences I noticed are as follows:
    - The inner lining is several classes superior to the previous one
    - It has much better ventilation
    - I think it is quieter
    - They have made space for intercom installation
