I bought this air fryer for my family without having any experience with a similar product because we wanted to eat healthier and we chose it because it is spacious and because it has a double basket. My mom was skeptical at first but we have been using the oven and the pan for a month and a half now. During this time, we save time, use fewer cooking utensils, eat healthier, clean easily, and in short, it has been very convenient for us...   Excellent!!! I think Rohnson has done the best job so far with this one. Large capacity, low wattage compared to others of its size, and the food comes out just fine. Additionally, it is the first large air fryer with a separator basket, which has the "shake" notification. I washed it and used it for the first time for half an hour at 200 degrees, and it worked on its own, I let it cool down and then it didn't return to plastic. Good choice!!!

  I bought it in mid-July and so far I am satisfied. This air fryer has been very convenient for me and I use it quite often these days. It’s not just big to take up space; it’s really spacious, meaning it can hold large quantities of food in the basket.   The basket is very large and convenient because the 10.4 lt it has is mainly because it is wide and not because it is tall like other well-known and more expensive brands. In other words, it can hold more steaks, burgers, sausages, potatoes... Additionally, it cleans very easily; personally, after it cools down, I pour in a little warm to hot water, let it sit for 2-3 minutes, and then simply using the soft side of the sponge, everything comes off very easily.

  The cooking times are not perfect but are satisfactory considering it only has 1700w power, thus less consumption. It makes sense that it takes a different time to cook 2 pork chops than it does for 4. I haven't tried fresh potatoes in this air fryer (I never succeeded in the previous one), but it makes very good frozen ones, and if you use the whole basket, you can make good portions for 4 people.

  If you are cooking large quantities, I would suggest not using aluminum foil or parchment paper to avoid dirtying the basket because it will slow down the cooking a bit and mainly because it is not necessary, as the fats come off very easily.

  I don't use the preset programs; for each food, through experimentation, you find the right time and temperature yourself.

  The negatives for me are: that the plastic gets quite warm around the edges when cooking, the materials are not bad but they are not top quality either (the basket and the rack inside are at a very good level and fully non-stick), I might want slightly better cooking times but I'm okay with it. Additionally, the smell has not completely gone away for me even though I have cooked many times (I don't notice it because I have gotten used to it).

  It's not just an air fryer. It's the wizard of the kitchen! If it had a magic wand, it would wave it and prepare dinner for you out of nowhere.
  I have had it for two months and I use it almost every day. It is easy to use and easy to clean. The double basket is really convenient because it allows me to make two meals at the same time or a large meal when I convert it to a single basket.   I have had it for three months. I have cooked on it over fifty times. I have washed it inside and out over ten times very meticulously (I even bought a small brush for the crevices on the top part). It still smells like plastic, both the device and the whole house (even our clothes smelled like it the first week!!!!!) and of course the food itself! I repeat... I have had it for three months and I am using it hoping that the smell will go away. Could it be a faulty batch? What can I say? It is so strong that anyone who bought it cannot fail to notice. Maybe it just happened to me :(

  When I decided to replace our 6-liter fryer (because it did not meet the needs of our family of four in size) with a larger one, I could not imagine finding a fryer that would cook almost twice the amount as the previous one in approximately the same time and with just 1700 watts. We chose it mainly for the basket that can be both single and double. It is also very well-made, I highly recommend it.

  Well, I have had the R-2854 for two weeks now.
  First time I buy an air fryer (I haven't seen it being used by a friend or relative).
  Everything I have read or seen from videos.
  In the first 2-3 uses, it did indeed smell very strange, like burnt plastic. That's why I put old bread and some potatoes for baking and of course I threw them away afterwards (to my knowledge, that is). I had read a comment here about the smell and I did the obvious thing, I believe.
  I can safely say that the fourth time I baked potatoes, there was no smell of burning.
  What I have understood so far and I will come back of course to share my opinion.
  I also tried putting parchment paper (on top of the baking rack) on chicken schnitzel. I didn't like the baking and it took a long time (specifically about 45 minutes), when I turned it the first time and it baked in the end, I saw that the baked side that was now touching the parchment paper left it a bit "sweaty" or soggy haha (because of the parchment paper obviously and because it didn't get enough air).
  I baked salmon in the same way and I didn't like the result with 40 minutes of baking (there I got annoyed and said something is wrong, why isn't it getting color. (which it should have gotten in 10 minutes)
  Finally, I solved the mystery with 2 moves (it could have been an issue with both, maybe it was fixed with one move, I will see in the next times).
  What were the moves, firstly I preheated the air fryer for 6-7 minutes and secondly I removed the parchment paper and it baked burgers with very good baking inside, okay classic outside crispy in half an hour. Logical at least.
  Now I want to see if there are specifically silicone trays that fit the size of the fryer.
  Also, I don't know if I can put the parchment paper at least in the bottom of the basket so that I don't have to wash it so often and over time it starts to wear out.
