It features built-in PoE (802.3af), so you have the option to choose between 12V DC power supply at the camera's jack or PoE (Power Over Ethernet) supply through compatible PoE 802.3af/at equipment (PoE NVR, PoE Switch, PoE Injector). It has a fixed wide-angle 2.8mm lens with a large horizontal viewing angle of 98° and dual technology lighting with infrared IR and visible light for color night capture, for distances up to 30 meters. The camera's housing is certified with an IP67 waterproof rating, making the camera suitable for use in both indoor and outdoor environments.

Additionally, incorporating Wide Dynamic Range (WDR 120dB) technology, the camera is able to handle challenging lighting conditions, in scenes where there are areas with high brightness contrasts, to achieve a well-balanced image across the entire scene.

The IP camera DS-2CD1343G2-LIU 2.8mm incorporates Hikvision's smart Motion Detection 2.0 technology, which is based on deep learning artificial intelligence algorithms that can classify (Target Classification) and identify objects into three categories: People, Vehicles, and Others. Subsequently, the user can intervene and choose to automatically detect faces, vehicles, or both, according to the specific requirements at each location where each camera is installed, and be notified in real-time when there is a breach.

In this way, distinguishing people and vehicles, false alarms (False Alarm Reduction) caused by other non-threatening objects, such as rain, light, leaves, animals, and so on, are filtered out.

The new Motion Detection 2.0 algorithm from HIKVISION records all motion events just like the traditional algorithm. However, it also records the cause of the alarm, whether it is due to a person, vehicle, or another cause. In the playback bar, events are marked differently for each cause, making it easy and quick to search for real events during playback. Additionally, notifications sent to Hik-Connect or iVMS-4200 are limited only to events involving people and vehicles.

The DS-2CD1343G2-LIU 2.8mm camera features dual lighting technology Smart Hybrid Light, offering intelligent dual-technology Dual-Light illumination with infrared (IR) lighting as well as White (visible) light, with a maximum range of up to 30 meters.

The dual lighting mode is selectable and can operate as follows:

• IR Mode - Infrared IR Only lighting - Black and white infrared image during nighttime
• White Light Mode - White Light Only: Color image day and night
• Smart Mode - Intelligent Operation: Infrared lighting during nighttime and automatic activation of white lighting in case of an alarm (motion)
