Garam masala is a spice blend, an essential ingredient in Indian cuisine. Depending on the region, the recipe for the blend varies, and every household in India has its own secret recipe. The blends release their best flavor when freshly ground and used at the right time during cooking.
The company offers freshly ground blends without the use of preservatives.
Recipes with garam masala blend:
Instructions: Heat the olive oil and lightly sauté the chicken. Add the green onions and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add the tomatoes, garlic pepper, and water. Sprinkle 1 ½ teaspoons of the garam masala blend over the chicken and let it simmer, checking until the chicken is cooked. Towards the end, add the remaining garam masala blend, shaking the pan so that the blend spreads everywhere.
Original preparation with peanuts and garam masala: In a bowl, mix the roasted peanuts with the ground garam masala blend. Add a little water as needed to help the blend stick to the peanuts. In a pan, heat sunflower oil, and once ready, add the peanuts, being careful not to let them stick together while frying. Once their color changes, remove them with a slotted spoon from the pan and place them on paper to absorb any excess oil. The peanuts should now be crispy.
