    The cable was purchased about a year ago. As someone else mentioned, the cable also twisted in this strange way for me and broke at the ends, resulting in the wires being visible (with the plastic still on them).

    The reason I don't give it one star but rather four is because the problem lies with the casing. In other words, it works normally and hasn't caused me further issues. However, I would like it to last a little longer.
