  If someone knows what they want from the cast iron pan, they know how to take care of it and clean it, it's a fantastic purchase. It comes with ready seasoning, but I suggest making your own extra as well. For cleaning, a little water and boiling on the stove and everything almost comes off by itself (preferable to scrubbing). Regular seasoning renewal, a good wipe before storage, and I believe it will last many years. I use it on induction cooktops and gas with excellent results. Keep in mind that cast iron is not exactly a non-stick pan; the seasoning makes it almost non-stick. Over time, with continuous seasoning renewals and getting used to the material, the non-stick ability becomes more apparent. Of course, never use cold water on hot cast iron because it is a material that can crack that way.

  The biggest scam I have ever bought. Pure cancer. I wonder how they are allowed to sell this death. It destroyed my kitchen counter and peeled off with just 2 omelette cookings. The handle does not take all the heat from the pan. If you grab it without a glove, it's like putting your hand in the kitchen's burning eye. You may melt your hand. I will make a special mention to Scrooge to be banned from being sold to people. It's not even fit to milk a goat.
