  It has better performance than I expected for its price. It doesn't have a "boomy" sound as I feared, probably because it is bass reflex, which means it needs space to be free from both ends of the cylindrical box. On the contrary, it has rich and "tight" bass down to quite low frequencies, perhaps even around 35Hz. And all this at respectable volumes. Also, the construction is quite sturdy. I would prefer the cone of the speaker to be better protected from both damage and dust, as it has neither fabric nor mesh, just a plastic diagonal cover. Overall, I recommend it; it definitely worths its money.

  With driving from a final monoblock, it plays quite well. The only thing it needs is good support on the trunk and good sound insulation to prevent shaking on the body. When the appropriate conditions exist, it is very good.
